  • Patent number: 11244518
Abstract: Digital stages for presenting digital three-dimensional (3D) models are described. A service provider system, such as a content creation service provider system, supports generation of digital content based on incorporation of digital 3D models of objects into digital 3D environments. In particular, this model incorporation and digital content generation is supported by configuring 3D environments as “stages,” which are implemented using data that describes characteristics of the digital 3D stages (e.g., background imagery, environment geometry, lighting, stage cameras, and so forth) according to a schema. Due to such configuration, the service provider can expose digital 3D stages for selection, incorporate digital 3D models at predefined positions within selected stages, and present views of incorporated models via the stages from predefined cameras.

  • Patent number: 10034031
Abstract: A content management system may generate a single content entity to manage multiple bitrate encodings for multiple content consumption platforms. A content management system may receive master content from a content creator/provider. Multiple bitrate encodings of the master content may be generated for consumption on multiple content consumption platforms. A single content entity identifier may be created to identify as a single content entity the generated bitrate encodings. The single content entity may be published to a content delivery system. The content delivery system may receive requests from content consumption devices for the content entity. A content delivery system may dynamically generate a content manifest to be sent to the content consumption device for use in streaming the content entity.

  • Patent number: 8532435
Abstract: In various example embodiments, a system and associated method to automatically adapt images is provided. A request to render a stored image is received. The request comprises an output parameter indicative of a display constraint to be applied in the rendering of the stored image, while the stored image has region characteristics associated therewith. An adaptation process to apply to the stored image is determined using the output parameter. An output image is then rendered using the adaptation process and the region characteristics. The output image is then provided to a display device.

  • Patent number: 8208722
Abstract: The present disclosure includes systems and methods relating to an image shader for use in digital image modification. In general, one aspect of the subject matter described in this specification can be embodied in a method that includes accessing color data associated with a variation of a master digital image, accessing illumination data associated with the master digital image, identifying one or more heuristically determined render parameters associated with the variation of the master digital image, and adjusting the color data using the illumination data and the render parameters to produce a photorealistic representation of the variation of the master digital image.

  • Patent number: 8174539
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer program products, for generating a design image for manufacturing a designed object. In one aspect, a method includes receiving input specifying a visual design of an object in a first image, generating a second image based on the received input, mapping the second image to a surface having one or more contours based on one or more flow lines to generate a third image, presenting a composite of the third image with the first image, and providing the second image to an automated process for manufacturing the designed object.

  • Patent number: 5175939
Abstract: A device for accurately setting the cutting height of a grass mower, especially a golf green mower in the field is described. A semi-rigid bar is placed between the rear fixed roller and the front adjustable roller of the mower and locked into place with a height adjusting screw which is set to a selected height-of-cut and releasably attached to the bed knife intermediate the front and rear rollers. A rigid bar is secured at the rear-end of the semi rigid bar and extends forwardly past the front roller. A spring loaded dial indicator is mounted at the forward end of the rigid bar and contacts the semi rigid bar so as to provide a reading of deflection of the semi rigid bar as the front roller is adjusted.
