Abstract: A side cutting unit for a cutting unit of an agricultural harvesting machine is disclosed. The side cutting unit comprises a support frame designed as a bar rail, wherein the bar rail supports, in the longitudinal direction, at least one oscillating knife bar using blade holding apparatuses, and at one end is coupled to a drive that causes the oscillating movement of the at least one knife bar, with the bar rail being designed as a one-piece profiled tube, such as an extruded profiled tube.

Abstract: The harvesting device for harvesting corn or other grains is embodied as an attachment for a combine and provided with a draw-in device (3) and one picking gap for separating the cobs from the plants (stalks). Furthermore, the harvesting device has one driven picking roller (4) with beater plates per row, as well as a cheek-like guide plate associated with this picking roller (4) and partially enshrouding it, or alternatively, a bracing support extending paraxially to the picking roller and embodied as a driven counter-roller (5). A connection piece (20) acting as a separating and comminuting cutter and stabilizing the distance between the picking roller (4) and the bracing support (5) is disposed in the plant intake (PE) between the picking roller (4) and bracing support (5).

Abstract: A harvesting implement for harvesting of corn and other grain products, to be arranged in front of a harvester thresher, comprises a driven drawing roller having a substantially cylindrical main body and a plurality of impact plates provided with cutouts, a cutting block provided with cutting elements extending through the cutouts, and a counter holder associated with the drawing roller. The counter holder is formed as a driven counter roller which is axes parallel to the picking roller, the counter roller includes a main body with a plurality of segments spaced from one another, the drawing roller and the counter roller are both associated with the one common cutting block, the cutting elements of the cutting block include a plurality of cutters which extend simultaneously in the intermediate spaces between the segments of the counter roller and in the cutouts of the impact plates of the drawing roller.
