  • Patent number: 5934522
Abstract: A flexible elongated tubular neck having an accordion shape that is rigidly mounted to a container containing liquids, and having an upper opening, that permits a user to readily pour out the content into a reservoir without the need of a funnel and without the risk of spillage. This elongated tubular accordion shaped neck has a threaded tubular end to cooperatively receive a threaded cap thereto, and also has sufficient length so that a user can extend it and locate the threaded tubular end next to a reservoir so that the liquid content can be transferred from the container to another reservoir. The elongated tubular accordion shaped neck includes locking means mounted to its internal wall, wherein the locking means includes a plurality of plates radially and inwardly extended, and at least one protuberance and a cavity in coaxial alignment with respect to each other. When the accordion shaped neck is in compressed position, the protuberances engage within the cavities located in another adjacent plate.

  • Patent number: 5690621
Abstract: A drainable pouch for colostomy patients with a stoma and that includes a valve for selectively releasing the gases trapped within the pouch. The valve assembly is removably mounted permitting a user to rinse the interior of the pouch from the uppermost portion. The valve also contains an odor suppresant filter that may include an impregnated fragrance. A cap member is used to cover the outlet spout. A sheet having cooperative dimensions and made out of a non-transparent material is used to conceal said pouch from public view.

  • Patent number: 5545288
Abstract: A device for dispensing moistened stamps from a web wherein contiguous individual stamps are separated by a plurality of perforations. The individual stamps are cut with a cutting blade that is part of a stamp affixing assembly. When the blade is actuated by a user through a spring biased cover, the web of stamps is also advanced over a moistening pad member that is simultaneously brought against the web. The web is advanced through wheels that translate the linear reciprocating movement to a rotational movement. A water reservoir provides a constant source of water to the moistening pad.

  • Patent number: 5407406
Abstract: An exercise device for children with muscular impediments that permit the periodic and uniform exercising of a child's limbs. The electronic motor that drives the slidably mounted front and rear brace members can be selectively engaged or disengaged, depending on the child's needs and progress. The brace members hold the child's hands and feet and cause them to move and flex, when forced over a predetermined path defined by front and rear channel assemblies. The mechanism can be selectively engaged and disengaged depending on the needs of the child. Telescopic linkage arms are provided to adjust the extent to which the child's limbs will be moved. A canvas and a mask keep the child horizontally suspended while being exercised.

  • Patent number: 4944519
Abstract: A board game that wherein a number of messages have been divided in half in several cards and the players are urged to match them when they receive the cards either originally when they were dealt or subsequently as the game progresses and they take the cards from other players. Game tokens are used to represent each one of the players as they travel around the periphery of the board. Centrally and peripheraly located spaces are provided to correspond with the alphabet and with the pairs of cards of the game. Whenever a player matches two cards with one message he or she can claim one of the centrally disposed spaces. When a player lands on a particular peripheral space, he or she can take the pair previously claimed by another player.
