  • Publication number: 20240073036
Abstract: Techniques are described for embedded device based fingerprint signing and public ledger registering management. A digital fingerprint associated with media content can be identified. An embedded integrated circuit (IC) of the computing device can be utilized to store security data associated with the media content. The security data can include at least one digital certificate. The at least one digital certificate can include a device certificate utilized to generate a cryptographic signature associated with the metadata and the digital fingerprint. A file can be generated and registered with a public ledger. The file can include the digital fingerprint, the metadata, the at least one certificate, and the cryptographic signature.

  • Publication number: 20230292012
Abstract: With the assistance of a cloud server, a user device is operative to adjust and optimize lighting of a video of a participant in a virtual meeting with use of a selected display configuration. The selected display configuration may be a selected from one of a plurality of display configurations (e.g., a user display, a plurality of displays connected at the user device, the user display and an alternate display of a laptop or a tablet, etc.). The user device may receive, from the cloud server, baseline lighting setting parameters associated with the selected display configuration. The user device may apply the baseline lighting setting parameters to one or more displays of the selected display configuration. Using the baseline lighting setting parameters as a baseline, the user device may automatically adjust a brightness and/or color pixels of the one or more displays of the selected display configuration.

  • Patent number: 4713864
Abstract: A separable fastener is provided, consisting of a male member with a stem portion and a T-shaped head portion, and a female member in the shape of an elongated body having a tail portion and a forward portion that is bent with respect to the tail portion. The body has an opening adjacent the bent portion, the opening of sufficient length to permit insertion of one arm of the T-shaped head portion of the male member. The bent forward portion of the female member terminates at an edge which interferes with complete passage of the T-shaped head portion through the opening in any but one particular orientation of the male member with respect to the female member. The edge has an indentation which is adapted to receive the T-shaped head portion when the male member is in that particular orientation, thus permitting the avoidance of interference and a complete passage of the T-shaped head portion through the opening.

  • Patent number: 4517816
Abstract: A fastener for the stud of an ornament for pierced ears includes a gripping member and a latch. The gripping member has a base portion, an aperture means in the base portion through which a stud can pass, and two resilient arms. The first resilient arm is affixed to the base portion such that it can flex to move toward the stud when the latter is positioned through said aperture, and the second resilient arm is also affixed to the base in opposed relation to the first arm, so that it can flex and move toward the first arm. The arms can contact a stud on opposite sides thereof and squeeze it, and the squeezing force is enhanced and secured by a latch which is pivotally connected to the first arm and is adapted to engage the second arm, in order to draw the two arms toward each other, thus squeezing a stud positioned between them.
