    Abstract: A method of constructing swimming pools is described which includes spraying a mass of foamable plastic against the exposed pool wall surface of an assembled pool which plastic material adheres thereto and hardens, forming a dense resilient foam mass with a hardened exterior skin facing toward the interior of the pool, and applying an ultraviolet protective covering to the skin to improve its resistance to light and moisture.
