Abstract: Devices or sockets having multi-sided outer surfaces are disclosed herein. An exemplary device can include an outer surface comprising multiple outer sides; an inner surface comprising multiple inner sides; a first end portion; a second end portion opposite the first end portion; a first recess extending from the first end portion toward the second end portion; and a second recess extending from the second end portion toward the first end portion. The second recess can include a cross-sectional dimension smaller than the cross-sectional dimension of the first recess. The device can be a hexagonal socket. In some embodiments, individual sockets are stackable on and within one another.
