  • Patent number: 11477427
Abstract: A three-dimensional (3D) light field display module is provided. The display module includes: a 3D pixel array of 3D pixels each made of a plurality of pixels, a metasurface multi-lens array (MLA) made of a plurality of metalenses, and an active matrix electrically coupled to the 3D pixel array for activating each of the plurality of pixels. The metasurface MLA is positioned parallel to the 3D pixel array, spaced therefrom and arranged such that each metalens of the plurality of metalenses is opposite and aligned with a corresponding 3D pixel of the plurality of 3D pixels for directing incident light rays emitted by the 3D pixel to different views. The 3D light field display module may be made with different parameters and can be used in large 3D TV or smartphones with 3D displays.

  • Publication number: 20210389646
Abstract: An image capture device includes a housing defining a receptacle having a housing electrical interface and a mechanical coupling mechanism coupled to or connected with the housing at a location of the receptacle. The image capture device includes an interchangeable lens module that releases connection with the mechanical coupling mechanism. The interchangeable lens module including a module electrical interface and an imaging sensor. A collar rotatable about the interchangeable lens module and lockable to the mechanical coupling mechanism to secure the interchangeable lens module to the housing and couple the module electrical interface to the housing electrical interface.

  • Patent number: 4222497
Abstract: A system and method for monitoring and maintaining a predetermined concentration of material in a fluid body or carrier includes a control arrangement for detecting the transmissivity of a flow cell in each of two states. One of the states during which the flow cell is observed contains substantially no fluid present therein but provides a basis for determining the degree of existence of external factors affecting measurements made via the flow cell. The measurements for one state are subtracted from the measurements for the other in order to determine the transmissivity of the fluid body itself as distinguished from the combination of fluid body and flow cell.

  • Patent number: 4001840
Abstract: A non-photographic, digital laser image recording and reading method and apparatus for recording and reading visual, two-dimensional replicas or representations of objects, pictures, illustrations, computer outputs and the like. A flat-field twin objective is employed to project the image of a laser beam focused to a diffraction limited spot on a radiation sensitive material, e.g., a heat ablatable or vaporizable recording medium to create a two-dimensional ensemble of holes in the recording medium. The recording medium comprises thin metallic films carried on flat substrates which are moving at constant speed or are immovably held while the image of the diffraction limited spot is scanned thereover by angularly deflecting the laser beam entering the twin objective. The visual laser record is an instantaneous replica of an original image or its computer processed binary equivalent.
