  • Publication number: 20240068339
Abstract: A fluid end is coupled to and configured to be driven by an electric motor. A shear interconnect is at an uphole end of the electric submersible pump. The shear interconnect is configured to shear a cable line between the electric submersible pump and a topside facility. The shear interconnect is configured to shear the cable at the electric submersible pump. A safety valve is arranged to cease flow within a wellbore, in which the electric submersible pump is installed, when the safety valve is in a closed position.

  • Patent number: 8170456
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for improving image on paper registration in an image printing system. The method includes advancing a target media along a media path; placing a plurality of registration marks adjacent to a toner image on an image bearing surface moving in a process direction, wherein the toner image is configured to be transferred to the target media; detecting positions of the registration marks using one or more sensors adjacent the image bearing surface; determining a correction function using the positions of the registration marks to compensate for an error in a registration of the toner image and the target media; adjusting the advancement of the target media based on the correction function; and transferring the toner image to the target media.

  • Patent number: 8128307
Abstract: A structure includes two plates (planar plates) joined at right angles to one another. The first plate has a non-round opening (first opening) and can include tabs extending from one end (a first end) of the first plate. The second plate has a round opening and/or a notch, depending upon implementation. The second plate can also include tab openings on opposite sides of the round opening, again depending upon implementation. If a notch is used, the notch is positioned along an edge of the second plate (positioned along a second end of the second plate). When the first and second plates are connected, the optional tabs are positioned within the optional tab openings, a first end of the first plate being connected to the second end of the second plate. A locking structure is positioned within the first opening, the round opening, and the notch (if used). The locking structure connects the first plate to the second plate.

  • Patent number: 7837189
Abstract: According to aspects of the embodiments, there is provided a printing system the use of an elastomer belt that would flex during media insertion, yet would be positioned and constructed such to prevent the media from escaping the pinch created by the gripper belt. The gripping force, created by the elastomer belt, increases if the sheet attempts to be removed via the orientation and mechanical advantage of the belt construction. This system also incorporates a feature to reduce the gripper belt holding force by means of a mechanical linkage actuated by a counter weighted, cam system or possibly an electromechanical device. The elastomer belt would eliminate any marks or scuffs on the media when it is removed from the disk stacker.

  • Patent number: 3990809
Abstract: In adjusting turbine vanes to control the nozzle area, the unison ring actuates a lever that has one end fixed to the vane casing ring and the vane actuating arm is connected to the lever at a point between the ends to reduce actuating forces required by the unison ring and to permit close tolerance control on the vane angle position.

  • Patent number: 3966352
Abstract: Apparatus for varying the nozzle area in the turbine section of a gas turbine engine is disclosed. Nozzle guide vanes extend across the flow path for the working medium gases and are rotatable to alter the area of the nozzle. In one embodiment the rotatable vanes are cantilevered from the outer engine case and are opposed at their radially inner ends by a shroud which is affixed to the inner engine case. The outer engine case has a double wall type construction including a plurality of bearing cartridges disposed between the walls.
