  • Patent number: 5441207
Abstract: A winding device, in particular for conical bobbins, including; a rotatable friction roller which rotates a bobbin through friction. The friction roller consists of several rotatable elements installed next to each other which are mounted on a shaft. One of the elements is connected non-rotatably with the shaft, the other elements of the friction roller are freely rotatable on the shaft and are connected to each other by a differential gear transmission. The differential gear transmission is in the form of a friction wheel transmission. The axes of the friction wheel transmission are at a perpendicular to the shaft.

  • Patent number: 5421150
Abstract: In a textile machine, the machine frame is provided with frame walls made of sheet metal, each of which being made as a bearing element. For this purpose the frame walls are provided with 90 degree offset edges and are connected by combined plug-in and screw connections to connection elements and via the latter to at least one additional frame wall and receive structural and function elements by additional combined plug-in and screw connections.

  • Patent number: 5166582
Abstract: Drive arrangement for spinning stations of an OE spinning machine. The feed rollers of the spinning stations can be driven by an electric motor and the draw-off rollers by another electric motor. At least one of these two motors is a synchronous motor. Each of the two motors can be fed supply currents of adjustable frequency by a reverse rectifier, with the rotational speed of one of these two motors being adjusted as a function of the rotational speed of the other motor which is sensed by a pulse generator in such manner that the set rotational speed ratio of these two motors remains constant at operating speeds and in that the operating speeds are ensured even in case of brief network outage.

  • Patent number: 4254615
Abstract: A device for controlling the bobbin drive of a flyer roving frame which has a bobbin, a flyer and drive roll thereon that are utilized for building a bobbin with yarn. A drive for the frame incorporating a differential gear and controls are provided for adjusting the driving speed of the flyer and drive roll stepwise to different rotational speed stages during the building of the bobbin. An additional speed adjusting device is provided for automatically varying the driving speed of the bobbin within each rotational speed stage. A switching device is provided for automatically switching the rotational speed stages.
