  • Patent number: 7343935
Abstract: In a gas flow control flap operating mechanism including a ball-head joint provided between an actuator drive and the gas flow control valve flap with a ball head which is received in a multipart ball-head socket, the parts of the ball-head socket are interconnected so that the ball-head socket is closed around the ball head and the ball-head socket is contained by a receiving part and includes locking means which hold the multipart ball-head socket in the receiving part and in engagement with the ball-head.

  • Patent number: 6889673
Abstract: In a device for exhaust gas recirculation, with an intake duct and an exhaust gas recirculation duct, which projects into the intake duct and via which exhaust gas is recirculated to the fresh air in the intake duct, the exhaust gas recirculation duct has an outlet orifice oriented toward the fresh gas inlet flow and a diverting device is disposed in front of the outlet orifice for redirecting the exhaust gas discharged front the outlet orifice in the direction of flow of the fresh air in the intake duct.

  • Patent number: 6708488
Abstract: In an exhaust system for an internal combustion engine, having an exhaust manifold including an inner shell and an outer shell partially surrounding the inner shell, so that the space between the shells forms an insulating volume, an exhaust gas recirculation line is connected to the outer shell of the exhaust manifold for removal of exhaust gas for its recirculating from the space between the inner and outer shells. The invention is also directed to a method for recirculating exhaust gas.
