Abstract: Acridanone derivatives of the formula ##STR1## wherein the dotted line is an optional bond, R.sup.1 is hydrogen, halogen or nitro, R.sup.2 is hydrogen or lower alkyl, one of the substituents R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 is hydrogen or lower alkyl and the other together with R is an additional bond and R.sup.5 is hydrogen, lower alkyl, lower alkenyl, lower alkynyl or lower alkyl substituted by halogen or lower alkoxy,and pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof, processes for their preparation and pharmaceutical compositions based thereon, are described. The compounds of formula I are useful as schistosomicidal agents.

Abstract: A cassette tape recorder including a device for making index marks on a strip denoting the position of magnetic tape relative to a magnetic head, the marking strip being on a cassette exterior surface and having magnetically alignable particles by which visible, magnetically erasable marks can be made. The marking device includes a controllable magnet for selectively magnetizing an element made of a soft magnetic material which conducts flux to the strip.In a magnetic tape cassette adapted for such apparatus a strip with magnetically alignable particles is arranged on at least one major flat wall of the cassette, so as to be readily visible.

Abstract: A dictation system with several remote stations and at least one central station. Each remote station includes a recording and playback machine for recording dictation at normal record carrier transport speed, and upon completion of the dictation said dictation can be transmitted to and recorded on the machine of the central station in continuous form at a higher speed of transport, actuation of the switching means for transmission being cancelled by changing the record carrier in the remote station machine.

Abstract: 3-Methyl-N-(1-pyrrolin-2-yl)-pyrazole-5-carboxamides and processes for making same. Such compounds lower blood sugar and, hence, are useful as antidiabetic agents.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to intermediates 2,2,3-endo-trimethyl-7-anti-amino-norbornanes and N-substituted analogs thereof. In particular the aforesaid compounds have a conventional protective group on the amino moiety and also hydroxymethyl or p-toluenesulfonyl oxymethyl groups in the 3-position.

Abstract: 1,4-Benzodiazepin-2-ones bearing an acylamidoalkyl-substituent in the 1-position and methods for the preparation thereof are disclosed. These 1,4-benzodiazepin-2-ones exhibit sedative, anti-convulsant and muscle relaxant activity.
