A request (100) for communication to the chip card (20) is made by the application (10) to the chip card dialog module (40) which is specified for the chip card (20). Upon the request (100), the chip card dialog module (40) generates at least one command (110), which is required for communication with the chip card (20).

Abstract: The invention presented describes the protection of transaction data in cash-free payment traffic from its creation to its processing by means of stock-exchange chip cards (4). In each payment transfer, transaction data TDi (10) is created on the individual payment procedure, and cumulative data SD (81) on the payment transactions since the last data exchange with the settlement position are summarized. The transaction data TDi is stored in the payment terminal. The cumulative data SD is stored in the security module. In each payment transaction, the cumulative data is supplemented by the new amount. The cumulative data is stored using a cumulative signature Ssn (82) which is applied to each supplement to the cumulative data. In this, the value of the previous cumulative signature is used as an initial value for the formation of the new cumulative signature. The key of the payment terminal or a separate individual key can be used. The cumulative signature is also stored in the security module.

Abstract: The invention relates to a procedure for processing data, especially transaction data, in an electronic payment system, whereby the electronic payment system includes a minimum of one payment terminal, a collections device and a transaction system. During the procedure, a data record is generated with header data (1), a payment transaction is executed by the minimum of one payment terminal (2), information concerning the payment transaction is stored in the data record (3), the data record is flagged as a shadow data record (6), and an additional data record with additional header data is generated (7), whereby the additional data record is generated before a further payment transaction (8) begins.

Abstract: A translator (300) for generating a tool (315) for a modifying data on a chip card (10) or for a communicating with the chip card (10) is proposed, the translator (300) receiving as input data a description (310) in a card definition language provided for that purpose, said description (310) comprising information about objects on the chip card (10) which are described with the use of constructional instructions. The translator (300) comprises a means for generating an internal list of attributes (320) from the information about the objects in the description (310), there existing for each object at least one entry (330) in the internal list of attributes (320).
