Abstract: A system for the processing of orders for cash handling, wherein a central entity by a central computer via data lines can exchange data with different institutions, in particular with one or more commercial banks, one or more central banks and one or more cash centers, and wherein the central computer in dependence on customer-specific order data produces processing data, which are forwarded to at least a part of the institutions via the data lines for processing the order of the customer. This system permits an effective automated processing of most different operations for cash handling in the money circuit.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a bank note sorting apparatus. Known such apparatuses have the disadvantage of not being user-friendly since the transport path of the bank notes is not readily accessible to a user due to the elaborate mechanical design of the transport system. Bank notes that block the transport system due to faulty transport can therefore not be readily removed. In the present invention this disadvantage is avoided by the bank note sorting apparatus consisting of at least three parts, with one part disposed in the middle and at least two parts removable therefrom, thereby obtaining easy access to the transport system.

Abstract: The present invention refers to a supplementary unit for a travelling fork lift truck used for picking up platelike mounting elements. The platelike mounting elements are picked up by a pick-up means of the supplementary unit, said pick-up means being secured to a frame via a carrier arm and a guide rod. The frame is adapted to be lifted by the forks of the fork lift truck. When the carrier arm is pivoted through an angle of 90.degree., the pick-up means, which is guided by the guide rod, will be turned through an angle of 180.degree.. The pivoting movement of the carrier arm is carried out by a hydraulic lifting cylinder.
