  • Patent number: 4442497
Abstract: A system for alignment and measurement of positions includes an electronic tachymeter and a reflector system. A processing system calculates the difference, in given coordinates, between the position of the reflector system and a position of known coordinates, and this data is transmitted to the reflector system. The reflector system includes a display for displaying this difference, enabling an operator at the reflector system to adjust the position of a reflector system tube to the known position.

  • Patent number: 4321683
Abstract: A measuring system includes a tachymeter station and a reflector or evaluating station. The tachymeter station is provided with an electronic tachymeter, along with a calculating or computing device and a portable radio transmitter, for transmitting data processed by the calculator in accordance with measurement data from the tachymeter. The transmission of information is in the form of pulse width modulation. The reflector or evaluating station includes a radio receiver having a pulse demodulator, and a display unit for displaying coordinate positions in accordance with received data.

  • Patent number: 4210057
Abstract: An anchoring dowel has detent lugs which are yieldably connected to a body portion of the anchoring dowel at a merger region and project outwardly beyond the outer circumferential surface of the body portion in a relaxed condition while being at least partly received in a depression of the body portion when the anchoring dowel is inserted into an anchoring hole of a support structure. The lug has an outer face of a saddle-shaped configuration which merges with the outer circumferential surface of the body portion at the merger region, an elongated side face which commences at and merges into a generatrix of the outer circumferential surface at its end which is close to the leading end of the anchoring dowel and having a concave configuration, and an arcuate end face which extends from the merger region in a circumferential direction of the body portion and is curved in the same manner as the outer circumferential surface of the body portion.
