  • Patent number: 7770616
Abstract: A device for machining, in particular, profiling tree trunks is provided, which includes two rotating machining tools (2, 3), whose axes (A, B) are essentially offset by 90° in relation to one another and are oriented in an essentially perpendicular direction to the longitudinal axis of the tree trunk. The first machining tool (2) and the second machining tool (3) are arranged in relation to one another in such a way that the first axis (A) and the second axis (B) lie on a common plane (E) and/or that their respective workpiece machining zones (I, II) at least partially overlap one another in the transversal direction of the tree trunk or adjoin one another.

  • Patent number: 5983967
Abstract: The invention concerns a tool head for shaping machine designed to machine the side segments of tree trunks. The tool head has a rotationally driven main body (1) with several groups of chipper blades (2, 3) round its circumference. The front chipper blade (2) in each group and a front-mounted finishing tool, e.g. a segment (4) of a circular-saw blade, are mounted on a common tool carrier (5). The tool carrier (5) is detachably attached to the tool-head main body (1) and is held in place by clamps (16). If, as a result of wear, it becomes necessary to replace a tool, the tool carrier is replaced after the clamp (16) has been loosened.

  • Patent number: 5779302
Abstract: A beverage vessel holder is provided for vehicles having a housing integrated into a vehicle part, such as the dashboard, center armrest or the like. A beverage vessel receiving device is axially slidable in the housing and has insertion openings for the inserting of beverage vessels. A beverage vessel support is pivotally connected to the receiving device and carries a placing surface which supports the beverage vessels on the bottom side below the insertion openings and can be swivelled into the receiving device. For improving the stability of smaller-diameter beverage vessels in the aesthetically attractively constructed beverage vessel holder, the beverage vessel support hat a rectangular plate with at least one cup-shaped insertion indentation constructed therein coaxially with respect to the insertion opening in the receiving device. On two opposite sides in the sliding direction of the receiving device, the plate is in each case pivotally connected on the bottom edge of a transverse web.

  • Patent number: 5660433
Abstract: An arm rest is disclosed for a vehicle seat, in particular a pivotable central support for the rear seat bench of a passenger car. The arm rest has a padded body and a pull-out part which is integrated in said padded body, which pullout part can be pulled out on an end side and on being pulled out releases a drinking vessel holder. In order to enable more extensive use of the arm rest to accommodate mobile objects, the pull-out in which latching part can be secured in a first pull-out stage, the drinking vessel holder is exposed, using a latching assembly. An upwardly open compartment is arranged in the pull-out part, in the pull-out direction behind the drinking vessel holder. This compartment is exposed, after the latching assembly has been overcome, by further pulling out of the pull-out part in a second pull-out stage determined by an end stop.

  • Patent number: 4674796
Abstract: In the case of a headrest provided with an arrangement for securing the end position of a support rod, where the catch effect for the removal of the headrest with both hands can be temporarily cancelled, and the catch, when the support rod is pushed in, is automatically brought back into the position where it is ready to catch, a two-armed lever is disposed at the lower end of an operating rod which takes up two defined end positions. In one end position, the free end of the lever is swivelled out of the path of motion of the support rod and the catch is in effect whereas in the other end position, the catch effect is cancelled and the free end is swivelled into the path of motion of the support rod.
