  • Patent number: 6893238
Abstract: A displacement-type ring gear machine includes a casing including a gear chamber comprising a supply port and a discharge port, an internal gear accommodated in the gear chamber and comprising an external toothing, and an external gear eccentric to the internal gear and comprising an internal toothing meshing with the external toothing so as to form expanding and contracting fluid cells which direct the working fluid from the supply port to the discharge port. The meshing toothings comprise a radial clearance and a tangential clearance which is smaller than the radial clearance. The tips or roots of at least one of the two toothings comprise a profile derived from a cycloid.

  • Patent number: 6386165
Abstract: The device for adjusting the phase position of a shaft, especially a camshaft that can be rotated by a drive shaft, more particularly a crankshaft, by a transmission device with at least one transmission wheel, is configured as a rotary piston machine according to the orbit principle. The inventive device adjusts the rotary position of the transmission wheel in relation to the shaft. The rotary pistol machine includes a stator with inner teeth, an annular rotary piston with outer teeth that engage with the inner teeth of the stator, a driven part that can be rotated by the rotary piston and a valve that can be rotated by the rotary piston and a valve device. In order to control the movement of the rotary piston, the valve device enables rotating partial areas of the working area between the stator and the rotary piston to be joined to a fluid supply device at high or low pressure. The fluid supply device includes a control mechanism, a phase position detector and at least one control valve.

  • Patent number: 5092826
Abstract: The arc gear with a rotary transmission of 1:1 has an inner toothed toothwheel, an outer toothed toothwheel, each connected to a shaft, one of the shafts being for drive and one for output. The shafts are arranged eccentrically with an eccentricity and parallel to one another. There are provided concave power transmission surfaces, with a first radius of curvature measured from the centers of first circles, on teeth of one of the toothwheels, and convex power transmisison surfaces, with a second radius of curvature measured from the centers of second circles, on teeth of the other of the toothwheels, both of the toothwheels having the same number of power transmission surfaces. Two of the concave power transmission surfaces lie on the same one of the first circles. Two of the convex power transmission surfaces lie on the same one of the second circles. The first radius and the first circles are bigger than the second radius and the second circles.

  • Patent number: 5056994
Abstract: A hydrostatic rotary piston machine contains a displacement part acting as a driven part and an adjacent control part which serves to supply and removed operating fluid to and from the displacement part. The displacement part has a rigid housing with a first inner tooth system which interacts with a rotatable, eccentrically arranged rotary piston having a first outer tooth system. The rotary piston has a second inner tooth system which intermeshes with a second outer tooth system on a centrally mounted shaft which passes through the control part and is mounted at both ends. The difference is the number of teeth between the first inner tooth system and first outer tooth system is 1. The second inner and outer tooth system differ by at least two in the number of teeth, the outer tooth system always being that with the smaller number of teeth. A rotary commutator of the control part is coupled to the rotary piston via an arc gear having a transmission ratio of 1:1.

  • Patent number: 4943268
Abstract: In an automatic two-speed shift transmission for the drive of auxiliary units, such as the dynamo, of a motor vehicle internal-combustion engine, the speed change is effected by the centrifugal-force-dependent actuated throttling of a hydrostatic control element.

  • Patent number: 4177025
Abstract: A high-pressure rotary fluid-displacing machine is described which is suitable for use as a motor or pump. It comprises a housing, an internally toothed annular gear, an externally toothed pinion arranged eccentrically within said annular gear and intermeshing therewith, an engagement-free crescent-shaped gap being left between the addendum circles of the pinion and of the annular gear, respectively, on the side thereof opposite the contact point of the pitch circle of the pinion with the pitch circle of the annular gear, a shaft bearing the pinion and being adapted for transmitting torque, and a gap-filling member in the gap having an inner and an outer curved surface, the inner surface being sealingly contacted by the addendum surfaces of the teeth of the pinion, and the outer surface being sealingly contacted by the addendum surfaces of the teeth of the annular gear.

  • Patent number: 4155686
Abstract: A hydrostatic gear machine is described which comprises a pair of gear wheels meshing with one another, one of the gear wheels being an internally toothed annular gear wheel and the other an externally toothed pinion, the tooth profile of at least one of said wheels being at least substantially trochoidal; the tooth profile of a first one of the two wheels being defined as being obtained by rolling the first wheel with meshing on the other wheel. The teeth of at least one of said wheels bear the thus defined profile only on a limited zone having a length just sufficient for the ratio of the angles of rotation of the two wheels to be constant throughout rotation of the wheels, and have their profile set back, outside the said limited zone, by a sufficient distance to eliminate contact, outside the limited zone, with the teeth of the other gear wheel.

  • Patent number: 4058938
Abstract: A method for grinding the tooth flanks of a roughed-out, annular, internally-toothed gear wheel wherein the pitch circle of the internally-toothed gear wheel is rotated about or rolled off a fixed circle having a diameter equal to the pitch circle of an externally-toothed pinion, adapted to mesh with the finished internally-toothed gear wheel; and, simultaneously with the rotation of the gear wheel, a grinding wheel is rotated on an axis parallel to the plane of the gear wheel, is reciprocated through the interior of the gear wheel along an axis parallel to the axes of the pitch circle of the gear wheel and the fixed circle and maintained a fixed distance from the axis of the fixed circle, except for normal infeed, and has a circumferentially-disposed grinding surface whose cross-sectional profile is equivalent to the profile of at least a part of the profile of at least one tooth of the pinion; the ratio of the diameter of the fixed circle to the diameter of the pitch circle of the gear wheel being an aliqua
