  • Patent number: 8138637
Abstract: An electrical energy transmission device has phase conductors, which carry alternating current and have transfer impedance, and sheathed conductors, which are inductively coupled to the phase conductors. A first end and a second end of each sheathed conductor form a sheath circuit with a reactance. An electronic assembly for changing the impedance of the sheath circuit is provided. The electrical energy transmission device can be used flexibly given different demands placed on the energy transmission. The electronic assembly is also configured to increase the transfer impedance.

  • Publication number: 20110114351
Abstract: A tubular conductor assembly includes a fluid-tight enclosure tube which is part of an enclosure section for a fluid. An electric phase conductor is arranged in such a way as to be insulated relative to the fluid-tight enclosure tube. The tubular conductor assembly further includes a protective tube which can be moved along a tube axis relative to the enclosure tube. An anchor point is formed between the protective tube and the enclosure tube.

  • Patent number: 7875121
Abstract: A pipe maintenance method and device is particularly suited for maintaining a pipe of a gas-insulated high-voltage line with a particle trap system extending along the pipe. The novel method enables poorly accessible sections to be reached. To this end, a maintenance unit is displaced along the particle trap system, and it is guided thereby.

  • Publication number: 20080157785
Abstract: The invention relates to a long body, for example a gas-insulated electric line (1), the condition of which is tested by an electronic signal that is supplied to the body and then received by a receiver unit. The electronic signal has a predefined duration and form. The receiver unit receives signals, evaluates them in terms of duration and/or form and identifies the signals as the supplied signals or discards them as interference signals.

  • Publication number: 20060115189
Abstract: A roller bearing having at least one rotatable roller is used to move an elongated body. The elongated body rests on the rotatable roller and can be moved transversely with respect to the axis of rotation of the roller. In order to prevent the body (4) becoming jammed on the roller, the rotatable roller can be pivoted about an axis which is oriented approximately parallel to the direction of movement of the body.

  • Publication number: 20050250358
Abstract: An energy transmission device has a tubular housing. Arranged inside the tubular housing is an electrical conductor. The electrical conductor is mounted on the tubular housing by mounts. To prevent the electrical conductor from vibrating, a supporting element is additionally arranged between the tubular housing and the electrical conductor. The supporting element has a variable extent and may be configured for example in the form of a cushion.

  • Publication number: 20040004086
Abstract: The invention relates to a dispensing container and a method of using the dispensing container that makes it possible to remove liquid, suspended, viscous or pasty contents from the container such that there is no excess of air within the container during storage and removal of the container contents and so that contact with the surrounding atmosphere is minimized. The dispensing container includes a hollow body, sealed at one end by a sliding element and at the other end by a membrane fastened on the hollow body. During the removal of the contents through the membrane, the sliding element is displaced toward the membrane by a vacuum generated by removal of some of the contents from the container.

  • Publication number: 20020032413
Abstract: The invention relates to a plunger stopper for syringe barrels, the plunger stopper having one or more constrictions and a first and a second end, wherein at least the first end of the plunger stopper is of tapered design. In a first particular embodiment, at least the first end is of conically tapered design. In a further particular embodiment, at least one end is provided with a bore. However, both ends can also be of conically tapered design and can be provided with a bore.

  • Patent number: 5582624
Abstract: The invention provides a process for producing the cathode layer of a molten-carbonate fuel cell in which the cathode layer is present in a layer arrangement with a matrix layer and an anode layer. A porous cobalt or iron layer is filled with lithium carbonate, the cobalt or iron layer is oxidized at a temperature below the melting point of the lithium carbonate in an oxidizing atmosphere to form a cobalt oxide or iron oxide layer, and subsequently, after the temperature is increased above the melting point of the lithium carbonate, the cobalt oxide or iron oxide is reacted with the molten lithium carbonate to form lithium cobaltite or lithium ferrite.

  • Patent number: 4703585
Abstract: A device for opening and closing vehicle doors is proposed, in which pivot levers 15, 16 operate between the vehicle door 10 and the vehicle body 11 and with their ends engage longitudinally displaceable guide elements 25, 26, which run on guide rails 23, 24 located on the vehicle and on the vehicle door 10. The pivot levers 15, 16 indirectly engage the body 11 of the vehicle via an intermediary part 14, and the intermediary part 14 is pivotably attached to the body 11 in the standard door stops 12. The pivot levers 15, 16 form a lever system in the manner of a multi-member kinematic chain, and the kinematics of the lever system can be modified by means of an actuating device such that the vehicle door 10 can function in either the normal swiveling mode or in a sliding mode.
