  • Patent number: 7369059
Abstract: An electrical power distribution device such as a junction box or the like includes a status indicator that also serves not only to indicate the status of energization of a connector mounted in a first housing opening, but also to illuminate a translucent indicia-bearing plate mounted in second housing opening. The housing contains a chamber in which are mounted a light emitting diode that is energized simultaneously with the connector, and a light transmitting member that directs the light produced by the LED toward the second housing opening.

  • Publication number: 20030204813
Abstract: An electronic document filing apparatus is disclosed which enables an agent to file a document at an office on behalf of a client. The apparatus comprises a client interaction unit which prompts the client for information relating to the document and which receives the information from the client, a document producing unit which produces an electronic version of the document from the information received from the client, and a communication unit which communicates the electronic version of the document to the agent to enable the agent to file the document at the office. The apparatus may enable the filing of, for example, an intellectual property document such as a trademark, design or patent to be simplified.

  • Patent number: 4956747
Abstract: A multiple signal transmission unit includes input/output modules having top and bottom portions which are connected electrically and mechanically via a plug connection. The bottom portions are designed exclusively for the current supply of the neighboring module of a line of modules by spring contacts which pass through the bottom portions from lineup side to lineup side. These modules are in contact connection from bottom portion to bottom portion via the spring contacts, while all elements of the circuit are associated with the top portions for the control of the machines, subassemblies, and the like that are connected with the modules.

  • Patent number: 4118058
Abstract: A tool for the contact-free support of discs by gas streams impinging on discs when emerging from the supporting face of the tool at an acute angle to the disc surface, which comprises a body having a supporting face, bores within said body for connection with an extraneous gas reservoir, means in said body directed at an acute angle with respect to the supporting face for discharge of gas flowing from the reservoir, said flow-through means consisting of nozzles or recesses being position at equal distance from each other on the surface of a cone whose base is enclosed by a circle concentric with an imaginary circle on the supporting face, said circle having a diameter of 0.2-0.6 supporting face-diameters, the cone having an angle of 20.degree.-150.degree. at the apex, and wherein the distance of the flow-through means on the surface of the cone is from 2/3r.pi. to 0r, measured at the periphery of the circle, and the radial widths of the flow-through means in the supporting face are about 0.
