  • Patent number: 5186440
Abstract: A supporting mount for the angularly mobile flexible support of a supporting member of a wheel suspension, especially a shock absorber, has a mount core which is vulcanized into an elastomer body and the movements of which are limited in the supporting direction by stops fixed in relation to the housing. The elastomer body is prestressed in the mount housing in the supporting direction and held in a manner which does not involve contact with the stops. The supporting mount makes it possible to introduce small supporting forces comfortably into the vehicle bodywork by a soft characteristic while larger supporting forces are transmitted by the stops via a progressively hardening characteristic.

  • Patent number: 4533184
Abstract: Wheel for motor vehicles of the type which is cast or forged in one piece and composed of a light metal alloy and possessing a rim and a wheel disc with a radial clearance between the rim and the periphery of the wheel disc. Ventilation apertures are defined by the radial clearance and radially extending connecting webs bridging same. In order to provide an outer appearance which is aesthetically pleasing and to limit soiling of the wheel by brake friction material while facilitating a strong light weight construction the ventilation apertures extend radially so they are not visible as open windows from the front, a stiffening ring at the wheel disc forms a connection base for the connecting webs, which ring is severed at spaced locations during manufacture.

  • Patent number: 4529251
Abstract: A wheel cover, especially for passenger motor vehicles, which includes a wire ring serving as a mounting element. The wire ring is provided with outwardly projecting lug-shaped members which are adapted to engage into a recess of a rim of the wheel and held in an axial and peripheral direction at the wheel cover within guides. The guides are constructed as tongue-like covers extending from the outside over the lug-shaped members and are resilient in the radial direction.

  • Patent number: 4498680
Abstract: On a screw closure for closing a high-pressure chamber of a vessel in a leak-proof manner, a sealing ring is arranged in a relief groove adjoining a threadedbore and is retained in this relief groove by a stud portion located on the screw-in side of a threaded bolt and by the bolt thread run out collar and adjacent threaded bore run out flank.

  • Patent number: 4362294
Abstract: A spring seat with a supporting groove for the freely terminating end of a spring wire of a coil spring for an axle suspension of a motor vehicle. The supporting groove extends merely over a circumferential angular range of about 75.degree. to 120.degree.. The supporting groove is fashioned to be approximately V-shaped in cross section and the terminating end of the spring wire of the coil spring only contacts the flanks of the V-shaped supporting groove.

  • Patent number: 4299425
Abstract: A central locking mechanism for web disk wheels having a central guide bushing which is provided with a central receiving bore for accommodating a wheel carrier pin with radial centering of the web disk wheel with respect to the wheel carrier pin and with a central threaded connection between the web disk wheel and the wheel carrier pin by way of a nut which is adapted to be screwed onto the wheel carrier pin. The nut is guided rotatably and axially displaceable with respect to the guide bushing and is captively joined thereto.
