  • Publication number: 20110111902
Abstract: The invention relates to a drive belt (1), particularly a toothed belt, having an elastic base body, comprising a cover layer (2) as the belt back, and a subframe (4) having a power transmission zone (7), wherein the base body is made from oil-resistant vulcanized rubber on the basis of a copolymer comprising butadiene and acrylonitrile, particularly HNBR, wherein according to the invention the proportion of acrylonitrile (CAN proportion) is <33% by weight with regard to the total weight of the copolymer. The particularly advantageous CAN proportion is 20 to 35% by weight. The power transmission zone (7) is typically also equipped with a textile cover (8), which is further provided with an oil-resistant protective layer (9), which is preferably made from PTFE.

  • Patent number: 7463151
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing mobile services using short-range radio communication devices. A method may include receiving a short-range radio communication (SRC) device information acquired by an SRC-enabled mobile terminal, authenticating the SRC device information, and allowing a mobile service to be provided to an SRC-enabled mobile terminal in response to the authenticating step. A system may include an SRC device information server connected to a mobile network and an SRC device information database connected to the SRC device information server, where the SRC device information server allows the mobile network to provide a service to an SRC-enabled mobile terminal upon querying the SRC device information database for an SRC device information match.

  • Publication number: 20080032837
Abstract: An HNBR-based toothed rubber belt (10) with a glass, carbon and/or aramid cord reinforcement (5) has a modified tooth covering (6) made of polyamide 6.6 fabric having weft threads (64) entirely or partly replaced in the peripheral/longitudinal direction of the belt by yarns made of polyether ether ketone (PEEK), polyimide (PI) and/or meta-aramid (M-A) or modified with PEEK, PI and/or M-A.

  • Patent number: 6510322
Abstract: To achieve an increased access to subscribers in a mobile cellular network with a plurality of service areas each covered by a related switching center, in each such switching center (10) there is provided an interface means (12) to establish a plurality of communication channels between the switching center (10) and a mobile station (MS) roaming in the service area of switching center (10). Further, the communication channel assignment at the interface (12) is changed through an assignment means (14) processing assignment requests submitted thereto. Further, reservation requests are used to indicate to the switching center (10) that a specific subscriber wants to reserve communication channel capacity for a specific cell in a mobile cellular network during a specific time period according to a specific bandwidth.

  • Patent number: 4819290
Abstract: A sweeping machine includes a housing and a rotary broom rotatably supported in the housing, the rotary broom being rotatable about an axis perpendicular to the direction of movement of the sweeping machine. A collection container is provided having an opening for receiving the sweeping swept by the rotary broom, pivot support means being mounted on the housing for pivoting the container between an operable position to receive sweepings and an emptying position for emptying collected sweepings from the container. A pivotal flap is pivotably mounted on the container adjacent the container opening and pivotal between a retention position in which the pivot flap retains the collected sweepings in the container when the latter is in its operable position and a discharge position which allows the collected sweepings to be emptied from the container when the latter is in its emptying position.

  • Patent number: 3980322
Abstract: A device for stopping a runaway ski from sliding down a hill after a skier has fallen and the ski has been released from the skier's foot. Provision is made so that the ski will not be released from the skier's foot in a static drop situation, such as where the ski accidentally comes loose from the skier's foot while the skier is riding on a lift, but will be released in a dynamic release situation, such as where the skier falls while skiing.
