  • Publication number: 20230219843
Abstract: A method of providing a reactive cement constituent or concrete additive includes at least the following steps: a) reworking a carbon-containing heap comprising at least coal and clay-bearing rock; b) extracting at least calcined rock; c) producing fine-grain calcined rock; and d) providing fine-grain calcined rock for use as cement constituent or concrete additive.

  • Publication number: 20180017420
Abstract: A method and an arrangement for analysis of a material flow (S) is disclosed having one or more material components. The material flow (S) is conducted via a conveyor line. One or more acoustic sensors are allocated to the conveyor line. Acoustic signals produced by the material flow (S) are detected by the acoustic sensors and then converted into digital signals. The digital signals are analyzed in an evaluating unit in a computer-assisted manner and analyzed by means of an algorithm in comparison to reference values specified based on individual identifying characteristics of the material components, such that the material components are identified and the mass fraction of at least one material component in the material flow (S) is determined.

  • Patent number: 9718066
Abstract: A defined mineral phase is separated from a ground ore having several chemical phases and being present in a heterogeneous particle size distribution by classifying the ore according to a defined particle diameter into at least two fractions, a first fraction having particles essentially larger than the defined particle diameter and a second fraction having particles essentially smaller than the defined particle diameter, and the defined mineral particles of value being present in both fractions, floating the first fraction having the greater particle diameters and selecting the defined mineral particles of value in a flotation concentrate, selectively admixing the defined mineral particles of value in the fraction having the smaller particle diameters with magnetizable particles, applying a magnetic separation process to the second fraction having smaller particle diameters, and separating a concentrate with an enrichment of the defined mineral phase of value.

  • Publication number: 20160107197
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and devices for separating primary ore into dead rock and at least one type of rock which contains at least one valuable mineral, the at least one valuable mineral comprising at least one rare-earth mineral. A sensor-controlled pre-framing method, which is based on the identification and classification of individual rock particles, is used.

  • Publication number: 20150102141
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for reducing the losses of valuable substances in mineral processing, wherein a mineral mixture, dry or suspended, has a grain fraction with a tailings portion and a superficial valuable material portion after a first separation stage, and the tailings portion quantitatively exceeds the valuable material portion, the mineral mixture being suspended, insofar as it is not already a suspension, for the agglomeration of grains of the grain fraction with the valuable material portion, and a substantially hydrophobic agent with a content of anionic or cationic amphiphilic molecules is added to the suspended mineral mixture in order to wet the surface of the valuable substance portion to form agglomeration bridges between the valuable material portions of the grains, wherein the mineral mixture is routed in a solution saturated with the valuable material portion and the tailings to a wet separation stage for classification into a fraction richer in valuable material and a fraction l
