  • Patent number: 11187436
Abstract: Systems, tools, and methods are presented that enable a circuit to introduce a random time delay before actuating a relay to start or stop a supply of electrical power to a heating element of a heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) system. In one instance, the circuit includes a time-delay switch electrically connected to the relay. The time-delay switch has a random time delay before entering a closed state or open state. The relay is operable to start and stop a supply of electrical power to the heating element in response to the switch entering, respectively, the closed state and the open state. Other systems, tools and methods are presented. Other systems, tools and methods are presented.

  • Patent number: 10480807
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed that involve detecting a flammable refrigerant associated with a heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) system. In one instance a damper covers an access port allowing a single sensor to monitor at least two separate spaces. In another instance, a multi-probe sensor allows a single sensor to monitor at least two separate spaces.

  • Publication number: 20180299211
Abstract: An apparatus and method for a brazed joint is described. A larger diameter pipe is brazed to a smaller diameter pipe. A flare is provided, extending from the end of the larger pipe toward the smaller pipe and radially outward. Such a flare protects the brazed joint from exposure to water and other elements and protects against corrosion. A sealant may also be added between the flare and the smaller pipe to add increased protection.

  • Publication number: 20170296910
Abstract: The present invention comprises a chance and strategy game system wherein pawns race to home through a continuously changing maze. The movement of the maze barrier members and the pawns, which occurs with each player's turn, has the surprising benefit of continually rebalancing the likelihood of winning. Because of this characteristic, the game works well for a mixture all ages and experience levels. It is a very family friendly game since all players experience many little wins throughout the game. The game works for 2 or more players as individuals or as teams. In addition, it is one of the few board games that can end in a tie.

  • Patent number: 8716581
Abstract: An improved pick holder device made from a single length of memory retentive material and having a helical coil (20) and u-shaped arm assemblies (30) with cleats (24) provides convenient insertion, retention, extraction, and storage of a plurality of variously sized stringed musical instrument picks (25). Removable attachment to an unmodified musical instrument strap (26) or microphone stand (33) is both firm and non-damaging. Pick holder manufacturing is accomplished on standard equipment using no special tooling.
