  • Patent number: 10712424
Abstract: An aircraft, to a system, and to a method of geolocation for calculating the current coordinates at least in longitude and in latitude of a current position of an aircraft. Such an invention makes it possible to calculate the current coordinates in latitude and in longitude corresponding to the current position of the aircraft on the basis firstly of first and second coordinates in latitude and in longitude of two ground stations and secondly of first and second transmission directions of the radio signals.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 1, 2019
Date of Patent: July 14, 2020

  • Patent number: 9239381
Abstract: A radioaltimeter (5) having a signal generator-receiver (10) and signal transceiver means (20) connected to the generator-receiver (10), and a display member (30), said transceiver means (20) comprising a transceiver main member (21) for sending a signal towards a ground (S) in order to determine the height (H) between said main member (21) and said ground (S), said display member (30) having main display means (31) for displaying said height (H). Furthermore, the radioaltimeter (5) includes switch means (40) together with a control unit (50), and secondary display means (32) of said display member (30).

  • Patent number: 7916084
Abstract: An emergency beacon includes a housing fitted with a connector for connecting the beacon to an antenna that is external to the housing. Inside the housing, the beacon includes an incident sensor, a transmitter, a detection and control member connected to the sensor and transmitter and arranged to trigger operation of the transmitter when an incident is detected. The beacon further includes, inside the housing, an incorporated antenna, a changeover switch interposed between the transmitter and the connector and also interposed between the transmitter and the incorporated antenna, and a sensitive member sensitive to the electromagnetic power conveyed towards the connector and to the electromagnetic power returned by the connector. The sensitive member is connected to the control member which is connected to the changeover switch and is programmed to deliver the signals from the transmitter to the external or incorporated antenna, depending on the state of the sensitive member.
