  • Patent number: 6393929
Abstract: This motorized reduction gear comprises a rotor equipped with a rotor shaft, a reduction gearbox (2) containing a gearwheel (3) in mesh with an endless screw of the shaft, a damper (5) housed in the wheel, and secured thereto so that they rotate as one; the single-piece damper has peripheral cut-outs (8) designed to accommodate, on the one hand, radial fins (7) of the wheel and, on the other hand, elements (10) for driving an output member (11), and the edges of the cut-outs are chamfered (38). The chamfers ensure that the angular deflection of the damper as a function of the torque is gradual and make it easier to fit automatically onto the hub of the gearwheel.

  • Publication number: 20020040554
Abstract: A door panel assembly includes a panel with a window regulator mounted on one side and a power mechanism mounted on an opposite side. The panel has a first alignment feature for aligning the window regulator relative to the panel and a second alignment feature for aligning the power mechanism relative to the panel. The first and second alignment features facilitate alignment of the window regulator and the power mechanism to each other. Further, the first and second alignment features allow initial assembly of one of the window regulator or power mechanism components to the panel with a subsequent assembly of the remaining component to the panel without having to hold the first component in place.

  • Publication number: 20010009114
Abstract: Motorized reduction gear (16) intended for functional equipment of motor vehicles, such as window lifters, sunroofs or seats, comprising a rotor provided with a rotor shaft (5) bearing a commutator (6) and passing through a rolling bearing (7) housed in a support (18) of a reduction gearbox (9) in which the said shaft is placed, a worm (11) of the shaft engaging with a gearwheel housed in the reduction gearbox; a seal (17) is inserted between the bearing and the bearing support, on the side of the bearing close to the inside of the reduction gearbox. An annular housing (19), the profile of which is adapted to receive the seal (17) resting on a spherical surface (12) of the bearing (7), is arranged in the wall of the bearing support (18). The presence of the seal (17) prevents any leak of lubricant out of the gearbox (9) thus ensuring a better longevity of the brushes (15) of the commutator (6).
