  • Patent number: 10624665
Abstract: An ultrasonic surgical instrument includes a proximal portion forming a socket attached to an ultrasonic vibration generating device and a distal portion. The instrument extends from the proximal portion to the distal portion along a main longitudinal axis and also includes a fluid channel. The distal portion includes a cutting portion, a fluid port and one or two radial bumps extending radially outwardly. The radial projections have a longitudinal position corresponding substantially to the longitudinal position of the cutting portion, whereby the radial bump provides a mark and/or a tactile location point beneath the skin for the surgeon for use in rhinoplasty or jaw surgery.

  • Publication number: 20160331488
Abstract: A dispensing device for dispensing a clinical substance for dental or medical use, configured as either integrated into a handpiece for dental or medical use or adjacent to said handpiece. The dispensing device includes at least one exchangeable module comprising a primary fluid inlet, configured to be coupled to a primary fluid supply duct and a fluid outlet, configured to deliver fluid that can be loaded with a clinical substance, the exchangeable module comprising a chamber containing the substance to be dispensed in liquid, gel, or powder form, the chamber forming a substance reserve, such that when primary fluid circulates between inlet and outlet, the fluid can collect clinical substance.

  • Patent number: 9119694
Abstract: A photo-curing device includes a light source for initiating the curing of a photo-curable material. The light source has light-emitting diodes, each emitting light in a determined wavelength range, the wavelength ranges of the LEDs overlapping partially so as to cover a continuous wavelength range that is broader than the wavelength range of each LED. An activation device is provided for selectively activating each LED.

  • Publication number: 20100140450
Abstract: The invention relates to a photopolymerization device (100) comprising a polymerization light source (111) and optical means (113) for guiding and/or directing the light energy produced by said source towards a zone photopolymerizable material. The photopolymerization device (100) further comprises means (117, 118) for measuring the intensity of the light reflected by the material for polymerizing, and in that said intensity measurement means are in communication with processor and control means (300) for controlling the light source and responding to the intensity measurement to adjust automatically at least the duration of the illumination by the light source (111) as a function of the measured intensity of said reflected light.
