Abstract: A method of transferring communication streams, including establishing a first stream via a first communication path between a first terminal and a second terminal, opening a second communication path between the second terminal and the first terminal, sending to the first terminal, via the second communication path, a request to establish a communication stream between the first terminal and a third terminal via a third communication path, and comparing respective capabilities of the first terminal and the third terminal to determine whether it is possible to establish a communication stream between the first terminal and the third terminal, and in the affirmative, interrupting the first stream and establishing a communication stream, between the first terminal and the third terminal.

Abstract: Predefined electrical signals, produced by an electrical equipment in the building during a change of electrical operating state of said equipment, are detected on the building's power supply system. By analyzing each detected electrical signal, tracking data is generated including information relating to the date of detection, the electrical equipment originating the signal and the corresponding change in electrical state. At least one parameter representative of the activity carried out by said person is determined, in the form of a probability of an activity or a type of activity being carried out, based on tracking data generated during a predefined period of time.

The devices are connected to an IP network via respective subscriber lines each conveying a voice and signaling channel and a data channel. The IP address of one of the devices is sent to the other device on the voice and signaling channel using a signaling mode of that channel. The transfer of data is effected after setting up a session on the data channel.
