  • Publication number: 20070105115
Abstract: The invention relates to an isolated human nucleic acid, characterized in that it corresponds to the promoter of the human FATP5 protein, and to an isolated human nucleic acid coding for a protein, particularly for the human FATP5 protein, placed under the dependence of said promoter. The invention further relates to a vector comprising said nucleic acid, or to a host cell into which said nucleic acid or said vector has been introduced. Finally, the invention relates to the use of said nucleic acid, said vector or said host cell in a method of identifying a product capable of modulating the expression of a nucieotide sequence placed under the dependence of said promoter of the human FATP5 protein, and to said method of identification.

  • Patent number: 5555121
Abstract: A process for a simultaneous optical modulation transposition on several wavelengths. Use is made of a semiconductor laser able to freely oscillate on several longitudinal modes, the semiconductor laser being able to lock on a wavelength of an incident optical beam. The modulation is transposed on the modes which are not at the wavelength of the incident optical beam. Such a process may find particular application in optical telecommunication systems.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 15, 1995
Date of Patent: September 10, 1996
Assignee: France Telecom Establissment autonome de droit public
Inventors: Herve Dupont, Mouhamad Chawki, Georges Claveau
  • Patent number: 5539760
Abstract: A process for the transposition of a modulation of an adjustable wavelength. A semiconductor amplifier is relooped through a feedback loop including a filter set to a first wavelength. An incident beam set at a second wavelength which is amplitude modulated is injected into the semiconductor amplifier laser. The incident beam is either extinguished or allows self-oscillation to be established in the loop. Thus, the modulation is transposed from the second wavelength to the first wavelength.
