Patent number: 12012502Abstract: The present disclosure is related to the field of polymer processing, and, in particular, to a vinyl-modified nanofiller interfacial compatibilizer and a method for producing a compatibilized polymer blend. Vinyl-modified nanofillers can be used together with an initiator as a compatibilizer for polymer blends. The initiator can initiate a free radical reaction between the chains of the polymers in the blend and the vinyl groups on the surface of the vinyl-modified nanofiller, leading to in situ formation of a co-crosslinked polymer and thus compatibilization of the blend as well as improved tensile strength and modulus thereof. Results of examples showed that vinylsilane grafted onto the surface of the vinyl-modified nanofiller makes it possible for the nanofiller to be used as an effective compatibilizer. The vinyl-modified nanofillers can be used as a compatibilizer for various polymer blends systems.Type: GrantFiled: July 19, 2022Date of Patent: June 18, 2024Assignee: Zhejiang Normal UniversityInventors: Bin Wang, Xiping Li, Hesheng Liu

Patent number: 11412975Abstract: A system and method for measuring a functional lateralization of a subject brain is provided. The method includes providing a set of functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) data acquired during a resting state of a subject, and selecting a plurality of seed voxels associated with locations in hemispheres of a brain of the subject. The method also includes determining a degree of within-hemisphere connectivity for each seed voxel using the fMRI data, determining a degree of cross-hemisphere connectivity for each seed voxel using the fMRI data, and computing an autonomy index for each seed voxel using the degree of within-hemisphere connectivity and the degree of cross-hemisphere connectivity, wherein the autonomy index is indicative of a connectivity asymmetry between the hemispheres. The method further includes generating a report indicative of a specialization profile determined for a region of interest in the brain of the subject.Type: GrantFiled: March 27, 2015Date of Patent: August 16, 2022Assignee: The General Hospital CorporationInventors: Hesheng Liu, Danhong Wang, Randy L. Patent number: 10298051Abstract: A method for prompting charging position includes acquiring a value of a first charging parameter through a first induction coil of an electronic device, determining whether a prompt message needs to be sent out based on the value of the first charging parameter, and after outputting the prompt message is determined, sending out the prompt message through an output unit of the electronic device to guide a user to move the electronic device to change a relative position between the electronic device and a wireless charging device from a first relative position to a second relative position. Further, the electric power obtained by and converted through the first induction coil when the relative position is the first relative position is smaller than the electric power obtained by and converted through the first induction coil when the relative position is the second relative position.Type: GrantFiled: April 13, 2017Date of Patent: May 21, 2019Assignee: LENOVO (BEIJING) CO., LTD.Inventors: Keming Yuan, Hesheng Liu
