Abstract: A touch screen having mesh patterned electrodes in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention includes: a plurality of first electrode lines formed with metal lines in a diagonal direction on one surface of a transparent layer; and a plurality of second electrode lines formed with metal lines on the same surface as the plurality of first electrode lines and intersecting with the first electrode lines—wherein any one electrode line of the first electrode lines and the second electrode lines forms a severed area where the plurality of first electrode lines intersect with the plurality of second electrode lines in such a way that the first electrode lines are electrically severed from the second electrode lines, and wherein the other electrode line of the first electrode lines and the second electrode lines passes through the severed area, and a step is formed at a position facing the severed area; and a connection pattern electrically connecting the electrode lines severed by the severed area.
