    Abstract: The present invention relates to a printing system and method using a preview function, which can display the output form of copied material or printed material, identical to that of actually copied material or printed material, on a screen of the printing system. Therefore, the output form of printed material to be output, to which the same print setting value as that for printed material to be actually output has been applied, is provided through a preview function on the screen display unit of the printing system, thereby preventing the user from making a print error.
