    Abstract: The present invention includes a composition for sterilizing a bioscaffold, comprising slightly acidic electrolyzed water (SAEW) as an active ingredient, and a method for sterilizing a bioscaffold using the same. The slightly acidic electrolyzed water according to the present invention has excellent effects on the sterilization of bioscaffolds and the removal of immunogenic antigens and a little effect on extracellular matrix, such as glycosaminoglycans or collagen. Moreover, the scaffold sterilized with the slightly acidic electrolyzed water has excellent cell attachment and has no toxicity, and thus the slightly acidic electrolyzed water can be effectively used for the sterilization of bioscaffolds.
