    Abstract: Provided are an apparatus for testing a tensile strength under a high temperature condition and a unit for measuring elongation provided in the same. The apparatus for testing a tensile strength under a high temperature condition includes a base frame part, a test sample loader and a cylinder part connected to the base frame part and applying a tensile force to a test sample, and a heater for forming a high temperature condition to the test sample. The unit for measuring elongation includes a movable frame, a vertical bar, and a measurement head part connected to the vertical bar to measure elongation of the test sample and blocking heat from the heater.

    Abstract: Provided is a heating furnace for testing middle and long span structures including a modular partition structure to adjust an inner volume of the heating furnace, effectively performing a load-coupled heating test of full scale members such as a beam, a short column, a slab, a conjunction frame, and a deck plate. The heating furnace for testing middle and long span structures includes a partition unit formed of a refractory material and partitioning a heating space in a main body to block transfer of heat generated from one space to the other space. A test sample is installed in the heating space of the main body partitioned by the partition unit according to a size of the test sample, and then, heat and a compression force are applied to the test sample to perform a fireproof performance test. The fireproof performance test of structure members having various lengths of 4 m, 6 m and 10 m can be performed, and consumption of various utilities consumed during the test can be optimized.

The jig for a compression test in a heating furnace includes an upper plate having a lower surface in which a hemispherical projection is formed at a center thereof, a lower plate correspondingly disposed under the upper plate, and having an upper surface in which a hemispherical concave part is formed, and holders each having an upper flange inserted into a fixing groove of the upper surface of the upper plate, a lower flange inserted into a fixing groove of the lower surface of the lower plate, and a middle flange inserted into a gap between the upper plate and the lower plate, wherein a hinge condition and an end fixing condition of a test sample are implemented through attachment and detachment of the holders.

    Abstract: An apparatus for connecting and disconnecting two objects comprises: a housing formed as a hollow type, and having one closed end to which a first object is connected and another opened end; a coupling portion mounted in the housing so as to be movable in an axial direction of the housing, and to which a second object is connected; a clamping portion coupled to the housing for clamping the coupling portion; a cylinder disposed in the housing for pressurizing the clamping portion so that a clamped state of the coupling portion by the clamping portion can be maintained; and a gas generator integrally coupled to an outer surface of the housing so as to be in communication with inside of the housing for generating gas of a high pressure thereby releasing a clamped state of the coupling portion and separating the coupling portion from the housing. Two objects are easily connected or disconnected to/from each other by the simple construction.

    Abstract: An object separating apparatus uses gas and has a hollow housing with a closed end connected to a first object, and an opened end. An axially movable cylinder is installed at an inner space of the housing and a piston assembly is coupled to the cylinder and connected to a second object at an outer end. A fixing portion between the housing and the cylinder and the piston assembly fixes the cylinder and the piston assembly into the housing. A gas generator communicates with the inner space, wherein when the gas generator is operated, the gas generator pressurizes the cylinder to release the cylinder from the piston assembly and to separate the cylinder and the piston assembly from the housing.
