Abstract: The present invention relates to a three-dimensional scanning device and method for scanning the shape of a subject by means of a three-dimensional scanner while rotating the subject and, more specifically, to a three-dimensional scanning device and method wherein scan data of a subject, acquired at arbitrary rotation angles of a turntable, can be automatically registered without user intervention and without a need to perform calibration according to the position of a three-dimensional scanner relative to the turntable.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a three-dimensional intraoral scanner and an intraoral scanning method using same, the scanner being capable of reducing a matching error generated during a three-dimensional model data generation process for all the teeth in an oral cavity, and the three-dimensional intraoral scanner and the intraoral scanning method using same, according to one embodiment of the present invention, generate three-dimensional model data for all the teeth in an oral cavity by using a large-area scan image, thereby enabling the minimization of cumulative errors generated when the three-dimensional scan data is matched, and match, with the three-dimensional model data, three-dimensional scan data generated by using a narrow-area two-dimensional scan image, thereby enabling improved precision of the three-dimensional model data.

The table includes a first arrangement portion for placing a maxillary dental model thereon, a second arrangement portion for a mandibular dental model thereon, and a third arrangement portion disposed between the first arrangement portion and the second arrangement portion and for placing thereon a partial dental model separated from the maxillary dental model or the mandibular dental model.
