  • Patent number: 8763413
Abstract: In a storage type air conditioning system having plural storage type air conditioners, each air conditioner includes a storage battery in which external power from an external power source can be stored, an air conditioning unit that is supplied with stored power from the storage battery and perform an air conditioning operation, a residual amount detector for detecting a storage residual amount of the storage battery, and a stored power transmission/reception switching unit for switching transmission/reception of the stored power stored in the storage battery to/from the other storage type air conditioners. Information concerning the storage residual amounts of the storage batteries of the air conditioners are communicated with one another, and the stored power of the storage battery of some air conditioner having surplus stored power is supplied to another air conditioner having short stored power.

  • Patent number: 5090210
Abstract: An ice making apparatus includes a refrigeration means having ice making chambers and repeats ice making cycles that involve refrigeration processes to freeze water supplied in the ice making chambers and ice releasing processes to release the ice. These processes are controlled by means of sensors which measure thermal conditions of the apparatus such as condensation temperature and condensation pressure of a refrigerant, and the temperature of the refrigeration means. The control system stores and updates the times required for refrigeration process and ice releasing process under normal sensor conditions and, based on these data, permits the apparatus to make ice even under sensor malfunction that occurred during an ice making cycle.

  • Patent number: 5031413
Abstract: A low-temperature foods preserving case and a temperature control method therefor, in which a plurality of evaporators, each partitioned by partitioning panels, are arranged correctively in a cooling chamber, for which sequential cooling and defrosting operations are instructed by a timer, so that circulatory passage of the cooling air is formed through said cooling chamber, the foods preserving chamber, and the cooling chamber by means of fans installed in each of partitioned air passages separated by said partitioning panels.
