  • Patent number: 11302362
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a display, an operation receiver, a storage, and a controller. The operation receiver receives an instruction indicating a switch of a candidate image from a user. The storage stores movie data. The controller controls the display to display a selection screen via which a frame image to be stored as a still image is selected from the movie data. The selection screen includes the candidate image, first marker information, and second marker information. The controller moves a frame position of the candidate image based on the position indicated by the first marker information or the second marker information in a case where the operation receiver receives the instruction.

  • Patent number: 9848133
Abstract: An image generating device has a camerawork information extracting unit that extracts imaging information of a captured image, a composition information calculating unit that decides a cut-out frame for cutting out a new image from the imaging information and the captured image based on a constraint condition, and a composition information shaping unit that outputs, as attribute information of the captured image, the imaging information and the cut-out frame. This configuration makes it possible to obtain from a captured image a newly generated image which is a favorable image that is easy to see for a viewer, without requiring skilled imaging techniques during capturing, and to efficiently record and manage the captured image and the newly generated image.

  • Patent number: 9826146
Abstract: A generator generates attribute information regarding a video image, which is captured by an imaging unit by capturing a plurality of capture directions, on a predetermined unit of video content. A composition map generator extracts a predetermined object, based on the attribute information of the video images captured in the plurality of capture directions within a predetermined period, and generates a composition map indicating a position of the extracted object. A comparator determines priority orders in the respective pieces of shooting of the respective capture directions based on a comparison result obtained by comparing pieces of the attribute information, for each of the capture directions and based on the attribute information included in the composition map. A camera work controller determines a next capture direction based on the priority orders, and controls operations of the imaging unit and a camera pantilter based on the determined capture direction.

  • Publication number: 20160172004
Abstract: A video capturing apparatus includes imaging unit, generator, detector, storage unit, assigning unit, and output unit. The generator generates time information for the captured video. The detector detects a predetermined video feature from the captured videos. The storage unit stores the captured videos, the time information, and the video features, with the captured videos being associated with the time information and the video features. The assigning unit assigns tag information to either the video having an evaluated value for the video feature that is larger than a predetermined value or the video having a change amount of the video feature that is larger than a predetermined value. The output unit preferentially outputs a video, of the captured videos, to which the tag information is assigned, when the captured videos are output. This configuration allows the video capturing apparatus capable of playing back a digest of videos.

  • Patent number: 8189102
Abstract: According to the present invention, in converting an interlaced signal in 4:2:0 format into an interlaced signal in 4:2:2 format, diagonal correlation is detected using a luminance signal and color-difference signals are also interpolated diagonally based on a result of the detection. As a result, the quality of the image represented by the color-difference signals can be improved and the signal can be converted into the 4:2:2 format with the block noise of the color-difference signals, which could be produced in an MPEG decoded image in the 4:2:0 format, reduced.

  • Patent number: 6320831
Abstract: An object of this invention is to provide a method for processing signals for an optical disc device and an optical disc device for immediately determining the on-track state of a main beam light impinging on an optical disc including land areas on which information is recorded, said optical disc being track-formatted to have a double spiral structure. In recording or reproducing information on or from the land areas while track-controlling a first reflected light (MB) based on a second reflect light (SB1) and a third reflect light (SB2), the phases of a sum signal (SUM) and a difference signal (DIFF) between a first push-pull signal (PP1) obtained from an output from a first split photo conductor (21) and a second push-pull signal (PP2) obtained from an output from a second split photo conductor (23) are compared to determine from the mutual phase relationship which land area is providing the first reflected light (MB).
