  • Publication number: 20060165865
Abstract: Problems to be Solved by the Invention: Plant sterol is stably dispersed in a water-based food product or emulsified food product without detracting from the flavor of the food product. Means for Solving the Problems: A complex of plant sterol and egg yolk lipoprotein is provided. This complex can be obtained by stirring and mixing egg yolk liquid and plant sterol (preferably 185 parts by mass or less of plant sterol per 1 part by mass of egg yolk solids) in a water-based medium. This complex can be used in food products as a liquid dispersion or can be used as a dried powder.

  • Publication number: 20050218945
Abstract: Replica output buffers, having the same input/output characteristic as that of an output buffer, respond to the rise of a TEST signal generated by a test pulse generating circuit and causes an output signal to rise at a through rate according to voltage of an SL_SET signal, and causes an output signal to fall at a through rate according to voltage of a CNT signal. A phase comparing circuit makes a comparison between phases of the signals output from the replica output buffers, and outputs an UP signal or Down signal with a length corresponding to a phase difference to a delay control circuit. The delay control circuit changes the voltage of the CNT signal according to the UP signal and the DOWN signal, and adjusts a through rate at which a signal output from the output buffer falls.

  • Patent number: 6901741
Abstract: An air/fuel ratio sensor (4) and a three-way catalytic converter (3A) having an oxygen storage function are provided in an exhaust passage (2) of an internal combustion engine (1). A controller (6) runs the engine (1) under the alternating application of a stoichiometric air/fuel ratio and a rich air/fuel ratio, and a diagnosis of deterioration in the air/fuel ratio sensor (4) is performed on the basis of the amplitude of variation in the air/fuel ratio detected by the air/fuel ratio sensor (4). By executing the diagnosis only immediately after a fuel cut, the amount of oxygen stored in the three-way catalytic converter (3A) at the start point of the diagnosis is equal to the maximum amount. When the rich air/fuel ratio is applied, the converter (3A) releases the stored oxygen to maintain the exhaust gas purification performance of the converter (13).

  • Publication number: 20040145719
Abstract: Sheets of recording paper are stacked and put on a push-up plate, and the uppermost recording paper is moved by pickup rollers and is separated by separation pawls. The separated recording paper is further moved by the pickup rollers so as to be carried out to the conveyance path between an upper guide and a lower guide. Notches are provided in those regions of the lower guide which correspond to the corner parts of the recording paper. Owing to the notches, the corner parts of the recording paper deformed by the separation pawls do not come into touch with the lower guide, so that the bending and jamming of the recording paper can be prevented from occurring.

  • Patent number: 6722445
Abstract: Front-rotary working machine employs a vertical engine having an output shaft projecting downward, and a transmission case, provided beneath the vertical engine, has a flat underside so as to extend generally parallel to the ground surface to be cultivated. Distance between left and right transporting wheels, connected to a driving shaft at a rear end portion of the transmission case, can be reduced as necessary. With these arrangements, it is possible to reduce the overall width of the front-rotary working machine.

  • Patent number: 6718754
Abstract: A three-way catalyst (10) is provided in the exhaust passage (9) of an engine (1) which stores and releases oxygen according to the oxygen concentration in the exhaust gas. A controller (2) calculates an oxygen storage amount of the catalyst (10) by accumulating a variation rate of the oxygen storage amount of the catalyst (10) based on the oxygen amount in the exhaust gas (S3-S5). A target oxygen amount in the exhaust gas is calculated which reduces the difference of the oxygen storage amount from a target oxygen storage amount (S6). A target air/fuel ratio is calculated based on a catalyst deterioration coefficient, an exhaust gas flowrate and the target oxygen amount (S7). Due to this process, it is possible to increase the speed and accuracy of control of the oxygen storage amount of the catalyst (10) towards the target oxygen storage amount.

  • Patent number: 6708774
Abstract: Driving worm provided on a transmission shaft, driven worm wheel provided on a cultivating shaft, main shaft portion of the transmission shaft and clutch are collectively accommodated in a transmission casing, which includes first and second bearings for preventing the clutch and driving gear from being displaced toward each other. The main shaft portion is screw-coupled to the clutch and a direction in which the screw-coupling between the main shaft portion and the clutch is tightened corresponds to only one rotational direction of an engine. The casing has a single opening for inserting therein the worm and worm wheel, and the opening is closed with a lid that also functions to prevent the worm from coming off the casing.

  • Patent number: 6622477
Abstract: A catalyst which has an oxygen storage function is provided in the exhaust gas pipe 2 of an engine 1. The oxygen storage amount is estimated based on the output of the air/fuel ratio sensor 4 upstream of the catalyst 3. The air/fuel ratio is controlled so that the oxygen storage amount coincides with the target value. When the output of the downstream air/fuel ratio sensor 5 continuously displays a rich or a lean value for more than a determination time which is varied continuously with respect to operating conditions, deterioration in the upstream air/fuel ratio sensor 4 is detected. Thus the output of the upstream air/fuel ratio sensor 4 is corrected based on the output of the downstream air/fuel ratio sensor 5. In this manner, output fluctuations are corrected based on the deterioration of the air/fuel ratio sensor 4 upstream of the catalyst.
