  • Patent number: 11505223
Abstract: A train position detection apparatus is configured to detect a position of a train by receiving positioning radio waves from satellites through a reception antenna. The train position detection apparatus includes: a memory that stores therein in advance a railway design standard of a railway track on which the train travels; and one or more hardware processors that detect a position of the train by self-contained navigation based on an input signal from a self-contained navigation sensor. When a result of the train position detection based on the positioning radio waves does not satisfy the railway design standard, the one or more hardware processors correct the result of the train position detection based on the positioning radio waves with a result of the position detection by self-contained navigation.

  • Patent number: 9889870
Abstract: A running profile generation device includes a storage, a speed limit setter, a reverse coasting curve generator, a parameter setter and a simulator. The speed limit setter acquires at least one speed limit section of a running section set based on a departure point and an arrival point of the running section. The reverse coasting curve generator determines a base point from a terminal position and an upper limit speed of the speed limit section and generates a reverse coasting curve based on vehicle performance information and route information stored in the storage. The parameter setter determines a coasting start position from the generated reverse coasting curve. The reverse coasting curve generator sets a range below the upper limit speed as a coasting range and sets a range at at least the upper limit speed to the upper limit speed during coasting from the base point toward the departure point.

  • Publication number: 20110184619
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a vehicle controlling apparatus includes a storage unit, a setting unit, a changing unit, and a controller. The storage unit stores plurality sets of target information. The setting unit sequentially sets at least part of the plurality of target information to be satisfied until a vehicle stops in a given position based on the part of the plurality of target information. The changing unit sequentially changes one target information to next target information in series in the part of the plurality of target information when the one target information is satisfied. The controller which controls an operation of the vehicle so that the operation satisfies the target set by the changing unit.
