  • Patent number: 5902206
Abstract: A support perpendicular to a rotational axis of a housing is secured to one of one of first side gears. One pair of second planet gears are rotatably mounted on the support shaft. The one pair of second planet gears are meshed with one pair of second side gears. A second and a third output shaft are connected respectively to the one pair of second side gears. A first output shaft is connected to the other first side gear.

  • Patent number: 4744348
Abstract: A grinding wheel dressing apparatus including a housing, a dresser shaft rotatably mounted on the housing and having one end adapted for connection to a drive shaft and an opposite end adapted to receive a dresser wheel, and an acoustic sensor retained by the housing and adapted to detect acoustic signals produced by contact between the rotating dresser wheel and a grinding wheel being dressed thereby.

  • Patent number: 4664452
Abstract: A brake control system has a proportioning valve for controlling distribution of fluid pressure to at least rear wheel cylinders with respect to the fluid pressure built-up in a master cylinder. The split point of the proportioning valve is variable depending upon load distribution between front and rear wheels and overall load applied on the vehicle. In order to perform braking pressure distribution control, a controller is provided for setting set pressure for the proportioning valve, which set pressure defining the split point of the proportioning valve. The controller is connected to load sensors monitoring load condition at front part and rear part of the vehicle. The controller received front part load indicative signal and a rear part load indicative signal from the load sensors to derive load distribution and overall load on the vehicle, and whereby derives the set pressure of the proportioning valve.

  • Patent number: 4659150
Abstract: An electronic brake control system, according to the present invention, has a controller. The controller employs a memory which stores a table or map representing split point values relative to vertical displacement between the sprung mass and the unsprung mass of the vehicle. The split point data stored in the memory are determined in accordance with the unique spring characteristics of the specific vehicle to which the brake control system is applied. The controller derives a reference pressure corresponding to the split point and compares the reference pressure with an actual hydraulic braking pressure. When the actual braking pressure is lower than the reference pressure, the controller holds a proportioning valve device inactive so as to distribute hydraulic braking pressure built up in a master cylinder among individual wheel cylinders so that the braking pressure in the wheel cylinders increases at a rate matching the rate of increase of the fluid pressure in the master cylinder.
