    Abstract: A microwave heating apparatus operates in either a first mode or a second mode, that allow different amounts of electric power to be supplied to a load and a control circuit for driving and controlling the load. The voltage applied to a primary coil of a transformer is lower in the second mode than in the first mode. In another apparatus, no electric power is supplied to a control circuit for driving and controlling a heating member and other circuits when the apparatus is in a standby state. However, when the user operates an operation member for opening the door of a heating chamber, electric power is supplied.

The cooking apparatus further has a bookmark attachment requester for requesting attachment of a bookmark to a specific screen displayed on the display unit, a storage for storing data related to the bookmarked screen, a bookmarked screen display requesting member for requesting display of the bookmarked screens and a display controller for displaying the bookmarked screen in accordance with the data stored in the storage in response to a request from the bookmarked screen display requester.
