  • Patent number: 11240581
Abstract: In an earpiece 10 of the present invention, mainly, a plug section 15 is fitted into a sound channel space 13A of a central tube section 13, and the plug section 15 is formed with a sound channel long hole 15B penetrating in a longitudinal direction thereof and sound channel short holes 15G penetrating in lateral directions thereof. With this structure, a very small part of sound transmitted from a stem section 12 is directly transmitted to the eardrum through an aperture 15A, but most of the sound transmitted from the stem section 12 is directly transmitted via an internal space 20 to the eardrum. Then, the user perceives the sound having detoured as indirect sound that comes from the front of himself/herself with a time difference, and thereby can feel out-of-head sound localization and sound spread, thereby experiencing a sense of direction from the front and realistic sensation.

  • Publication number: 20080301777
Abstract: A server system has servers that can be operated through switching as a primary system and a standby system, and a shared disk unit for storing data accessed by the servers. Each of the servers has a driver that acquires information on a configuration inside the shared disk unit after starting of the system. The driver sets the shared disk unit in an active state in which an access request can be sent to the shared disk unit. Access control determines whether the access request issued by an application should be sent on the basis of a management table indicating inhibited types of access requests for each access destination. The access control sends the access request to the driver when the access request is not inhibited for an access destination of the access request. By this arrangement, hot standby switching processing can be performed at high speed.

  • Patent number: 7418624
Abstract: Consistency of a shared disk is secured in system switching in a hot standby system. In the standby system in which an active computer and standby computer share the shared disk, when a write I/O request is issued from the active computer, information about a start of the I/O is recorded in, for example, a memory. When the I/O is completed, the information is deleted from the memory. When a failure occurs in the active computer, the active computer transmits the record of the information about the start of the I/O, to the standby computer. The standby computer verifies the record to recover a disk in which the I/O is to be executed.

  • Publication number: 20070050425
Abstract: According to the present invention, even when any one of the computers constituting a computer system becomes inoperable, a series of flow of distributed processing can be traced. Application program 120 in computer 100A requests computer 100B to perform a part of the series of the processes (S106). Log information items in the computer 100A, to which an ID issued to a series of processes is attached, are transmitted to the computer 100B by the log transmission program 152 in the computer 100A (S110). The log information receiving program 153 of the computer 100B receives these log information items and stores them in logbuffer 160 (S221, S222). The application program 120 in the computer 100B executes thus requested processing, and returns the process result to the computer 100A (S206).

  • Publication number: 20040139205
Abstract: A server system comprising a plurality of servers that can be each operated as a primary system and a standby system by system switching, and a shared disk unit for storing data accessed by said plurality of servers, wherein: each of said plurality of servers comprises: an application means; a driver means that: acquires information on a configuration inside said shared disk unit after starting of said system; and, based on said configuration information, sets said shared disk unit in an active state in which an access request to said shared disk unit can be sent; and, when the driver means receives an access request to said shared disk unit, sends said access request to said shared disk unit; and an access control means that: judges whether an access request issued by said application means should be sent, based on a management table indicating inhibited types of access requests for each access destination; and sends said access request to said driver means when said access request is not inhibited for an ac
