    Abstract: A fuel cell vehicle control method changes an output current of a fuel cell depending on a required generated power and adjusts an air supply flow rate depending on the change of the output current. The output current is reduced in response to a decrease of the required generated power when a gearshift operation of a transmission is under an inertia phase of an upshift operation. The air supply flow rate is controlled to an inertia phase supply flow rate higher than the air supply flow rate set in response to the decrease of the output current.

    Abstract: A fuel cell vehicle control method executed in a fuel cell vehicle having a fuel cell, an air supply device that supplies air to the fuel cell, a drive motor that drives a fuel cell vehicle using power from the fuel cell, and a transmission provided in a power transmission path between the drive motor and drive wheels, the method changing an output current depending on a required generated power of the fuel cell and adjusting an air supply flow rate of the air supply device depending on the change of the output current, the method comprising: reducing the output current in response to a decrease of the required generated power of the fuel cell when a gearshift operation of the transmission is under an inertia phase of an upshift operation; and controlling the air supply flow rate to an inertia phase supply flow rate higher than the air supply flow rate set in response to the decrease of the output current.
