  • Patent number: 10661367
Abstract: A gear machining method includes: roughing a workpiece while causing a cylindrical hob cutter to rotate in synchronization with a rotation of the workpiece such that a cutting allowance remains; and finishing by cutting off the cutting allowance remaining on the workpiece on which the roughing has been performed during the roughing to form a desired gear shape by feeding a skiving cutter relatively to the workpiece in the rotation axis direction of the workpiece while causing the skiving cutter to rotate in synchronization with the rotation of the workpiece.

  • Publication number: 20190217405
Abstract: A gear machining apparatus includes a machining point setting unit that sets a machining point of a gear cutting tool to a position that is offset from a reference point. The gear cutting tool is arranged such that a projection line of a rotation axis of the gear cutting tool is parallel to a projection line of the rotation axis of the workpiece when viewed in a direction orthogonal to a reference plane, and intersects the projection line of the rotation axis of the workpiece when viewed in a direction orthogonal to a plane containing the rotation axis of the workpiece and the rotation axis of the gear cutting tool. The machining point setting unit sets an offset angle of the machining point from the reference point to different angles for roughing and for finishing.

  • Patent number: 6859123
Abstract: A method for positioning permanent magnetic blocks includes providing a plurality of magnetized blocks, positioning the magnetized blocks on a yoke in a row by applying a mechanical force at a first end of the row with a first clamping member and at a second end of the row with a second clamping member, and repositioning the blocks by reducing the mechanical force at the first end by moving the first clamping member away from the first end, and moving the second clamping member toward the second end.

  • Patent number: 6239680
Abstract: In order to provide a magnetic field stabilization method, magnetic field generating apparatus and magnetic resonance imaging apparatus that is not affected by the temperature distribution in an installation space, in stabilizing a magnetic field of a magnetic field generating apparatus 2 having a pair of permanent magnets facing each other with a space interposed and yokes constituting a magnetic circuit for the permanent magnets, heat quantities to be applied to a plurality of positions are individually controlled (172, 174) based on the temperatures detected at a plurality of positions 154, 158 on the yoke to stabilize the respective temperatures at the plurality of positions.

  • Patent number: 4769827
Abstract: The present invention provides a CAT (computerized axial tomography) scanner in which x-ray detector output currents are utilized efficiently and can be measured correctly, and which reconstructs an image of an object (11) under scrutiny without being materially affected by variations in the intensity of x-rays. The scanner has an x-ray tube (1) for continuously producing x-rays, which are directed toward an array (2) of x-ray detectors through the object (11). Capacitors (3.sub.1 -3.sub.502) are charged by the output currents from the x-ray detectors (2.sub.1 -2.sub.502) of the array. A control circuit controls first switches (4.sub.1 -4.sub.502) and a second switch (6) in such a way that each capacitor initiates a cyclic process immediately after the previous capacitor is fully discharged. The cyclic process consists of a measurement, a resetting, and a charging.

  • Patent number: 4576368
Abstract: A table mechanism suitable for use in a tomographic system, such as an X-ray computerized tomograph, has a table movable upwardly and downwardly by a parallel link mechanism. The distance of horizontal movement of a cradle on the table can be automatically compensated for, dependent on an angle of angular movement of the parallel link mechanism, while holding the cradle and a gantry, relatively positioned in a constant relation. A side of the parallel link mechanism is covered with a cover mechanism having a relatively small area.

  • Patent number: 4484340
Abstract: An apparatus for examining an input signal current from an X-ray detector in a computerized tomograph, wherein an apparatus is used to once charge a capacitor in each of a plurality of channels with the input signal current, and to read the charged voltage later to measure the strength of the respective input signals. To eliminate the effects of cross-talk, leakage current, and off-set factors, a reset switch alone or together with associated circuit elements are used. In one embodiment the reset switch is used to discharge distributed capacitance after reading of one channel capacitor and before the discharging of the next channel capacitor. In another embodiment the true input signal together with error factors are first measured and stored, and then the error factors are measured, and then such error factors are subtracted from the stored combined signal, to produce an output signal which reflects the true input signal.
