Abstract: Embroidery pattern positioning apparatus and embroidering apparatus is disclosed, wherein a pattern is projected on a cloth F on which the pattern is embroidered. The projected pattern is moved on the cloth by operation of jog keys 6 to determine a position of the pattern where the pattern is stitched. In the meantime the original position of a carriage is adjusted or the position of the pattern is calculated and memorized in accordance with the moving amount of the pattern. This operation may be repeated as to each of plural patterns selected to be stitched such that a plurality of patterns may be stitched respectively at the positions determined and memorized.

Abstract: An amplitude adjusting device in connection with a sewing machine having an amplitude generating mechanism including a pattern cam and a cam follower which has a central swinging axis around cam follower which is swingable in accordance with the configuration of the pattern cam, wherein the amplitude adjusting device comprises an adjusting lever having a central axis around which the adjusting lever is swingable, the adjusting lever having one end operatively connected to one end of a transmission rod which has the opposite end connected to a swingable needle bar holder. The adjusting lever has the opposite end operatively connected to an operating knob and is normally urged in one direction so that said one end of the transmission rod is normally urged to a position substantially corresponding to the swinging axis of the cam follower.

Abstract: A sewing machine capable of embroidery stitching and a embroidery data producing device for the machine are formed so that optionally selectable data are provided for forming the stitches of unit patterns to be embroidered, for arranging the unit pattern in series along a linear outline forming a looped pattern, for setting the size and the number of the unit patterns, the space between the unit patterns in an arrangement thereof and the size of the looped pattern, and stitch forming means is operated under control of said given data to form the stitches of the unit patterns arranged along the linear outline.

Abstract: A thread tension device of a sewing machine having a fabric presser bar lifting lever, comprises a mount plate fixedly arranged in the sewing machine, a support shaft having one end secured to said mount plate, a pair of first and second thread tensioning disks coaxially mounted on the support shaft and having concentrically arranged curved thread clamping faces which are pressed against each other to clamp therebetween an upper thread of the sewing machine, a spring operated to adjustably press the disks against the mount plate, a thread tension adjusting member operated to increase or decrease an elastic force of the spring, an actuating plate and a transmission rod having one end connected to the actuating plate and the other end operatively connected to the fabric presser bar lifting lever.
