  • Patent number: 8136853
Abstract: Vehicle door handle unit includes: a handle shaft rotatably mounted on a vehicle door; a handle section pivotably mounted on the handle shaft; and a detection section for detecting locking/unlocking operation of the vehicle door or opening/closing-related operation including opening/closing operation of the vehicle door. The handle shaft includes first and second handle shaft members axially spaced apart from each other, and the detection section is provided between the first and second handle shaft members. Not only the vehicle door handle unit can be suitably applied to small vehicles etc. of which the vehicle door can only have a limited thickness, but also it can have a good usability.

  • Patent number: 7963595
Abstract: A vehicle seat includes a seat back and a head rest. The seat back has an air blower that is capable of aspirating air, and a blower duct that is capable of introducing the aspirated air toward a blowhole formed in the seat back. The head rest has a head rest main body and a stay attached to the head rest main body. The stay is inserted into the seat back, so that the head rest main body is vertically movably attached to the seat back. The air blower is disposed on the seat back such that a rotation center thereof can be positioned above the level of a terminal end of the stay that is moved to a lowermost position.

  • Patent number: 6563082
Abstract: Scribe lines are formed in advance at cutting locations on both surfaces of a panel formed by bonding an upper substrate and a lower substrate to each other via a sealing material, and a laser beam is applied to each of the scribe lines on both surfaces, by which a liquid crystal panel having a product size is obtained.

  • Patent number: 6530618
Abstract: A sealing structure for forming a seal between a weather strip attached to a door opening portion of a vehicle body, and a periphery of a vehicle door. The weather strip includes a base portion having a generally U-shaped cross-section for attachment to the door opening portion, and a tubular seal portion which expands from an outer side wall of the base portion. A projection is formed in the weather strip so as to project from the outer side wall of the base portion into an interior of the tubular seal portion so as to be spaced from an inner surface of a projecting top of a sealing wall of the tubular seal portion. When the vehicle door is closed, an inside surface of a periphery of a door panel contacts and presses the projecting top of the sealing wall, which faces the projecting end of the projection, while an inside surface of a door frame contacts and presses a side part of the sealing wall apart from the projecting top of the sealing wall.

  • Patent number: 6525144
Abstract: A norbornene polymer comprising a repeating unit derived from a norbornene monomer having a cyclic hydrocarbon structure (I) derived from the norbornene ring which constitutes at least a part of the main chain, another cyclic hydrocarbon structure (II), which shares one carbon-carbon bond with the cyclic hydrocarbon structure (I) and has 4 to 6 carbon atoms, and a monocyclic or polycyclic hydrocarbon structure (III), which shares one carbon-carbon bond with the cyclic hydrocarbon structure (II), in a proportion of 20 to 100 mol % based on the whole repeating unit of the polymer, wherein the number average molecular weight is within a range of 1,000 to 1,000,000, and a peak area (A) on a high magnetic field side and a peak area (B) on a low magnetic field side in methylene peaks derived from the methylene groups in the cyclic hydrocarbon structure (III) in a 13C-NMR spectrum as determined in heavy chloroform (TMS standard) satisfy a relationship of the expression: B/(A+B)≦0.
