  • Patent number: 7825555
Abstract: A surface mount-type vibration motor and an installation structure for a surface mount-type vibration motor, where soldered portions are prevented from separating from a circuit board without requiring any design change in a vibration motor body. A section where a motor holding section of a motor holder and motor support sections of the motor holder are connected is bent in an arc shape having elasticity to form the motor holder, the motor holding section holding a vibration motor body to which an elastic holder is attached, the motor support sections being arranged along a circuit board. First contact sections and second contact sections are formed in the connection section such that distal ends of the first and second contact sections are of a band-like shape projecting toward the inside of the vibration motor body. The motor holder reduces a load applied to portions where the surface mount-type vibration motor is soldered to the circuit board and also improves bonding strength.

  • Patent number: 7646122
Abstract: A fixing structure capable of adjusting the dimensions in the vertical direction of a vibration generating device including a circuit board in combination with the circuit board without reducing the size or the diameter of the vibration generation device. A fixing holder in a holder shape for holding or including at least a part of the outer circumference of a vibration generating device has an inner circumferential surface substantially identical to the external shape of the vibration generating device. Groove-like rail parts are provided partially in the outer circumferential surface of the holder at the opposite ends thereof in the same linear direction, and the side end part of a notched circuit board or a part on the housing side of the apparatus is inserted into each of the groove-like rail parts, thus holding and securing the vibration generating device at an arbitrary vertical position against the surface of the circuit board in the apparatus.

Abstract: [Problems] A surface mount-type vibration motor and an installation structure for a surface mount-type vibration motor, where soldered portions are prevented from separating from a circuit board without requiring any design change in a vibration motor body. [Means for Solving the Problem] A section where a motor holding section 31 of a motor holder 30 and motor support sections 32 of the motor holder 30 are connected is bent in an arc shape having elasticity to form the motor holder 30, the motor holding section 31 holding a vibration motor body 2 to which an elastic holder 8 is attached, the motor support sections 32 being arranged along a circuit board 3. First contact sections 52 and second contact sections 53 are formed in the connection section such that distal ends of the first and second contact sections are of a band-like shape projecting toward the inside of the vibration motor body 2.

  • Patent number: 5403374
Abstract: A watch exterior part is formed of cemented carbide or stellite alloy, and has a three-dimensionally curved as-sintered surface or a small hole with an as-sintered interior peripheral surface, or has a three-dimensionally curved polished surface obtained by polishing an as-sintered surface. The watch exterior part is manufactured by a method in which organic binder is milled into a material powder, and a molded body obtained by injection molding is subjected to a binder removing process and then sintered. By the manufacturing method, a watch exterior part formed of cemented carbide or stellite alloy has a high strength and a complicated configuration such as a three-dimensional curved surface and a small hole, without applying secondary machining operations such as discharge operations.
