    Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus for the regeneration of wet spent active carbon devised so as to bring the active carbon supplied from a hopper into contact with a reaction gas generated or heated to high temperature in a furnace, wherein an exhaust duct for the high-temperature exhaust gas from the furnace is installed penetrating the hopper in order to heat the active carbon descending therein and a condensate collecting header for discharging water separated from the active carbon is disposed at the lower part of the hopper.
