  • Publication number: 20250053214
Abstract: An information processing apparatus, having a first chassis and a second chassis, the first chassis and the second chassis being connected so as to be relatively openable and closable, includes: a touch panel provided in the first chassis; a temperature sensor; a temperature acquisition unit for acquiring a touch panel temperature on the basis of a temperature measured by the temperature sensor; and a mode setting unit that has a plurality of touch modes including a touch disable mode that disables an operation of input to the touch panel and a touch enable mode that enables an operation of input to the touch panel, and sets any one of touch modes on the basis of the touch panel temperature.

  • Patent number: 10394380
Abstract: An apparatus for preventing malfunctions of a touchpad disposed near an antenna is provided. An NFC coil is disposed underneath a touchpad. In NFC, an NFC card approaches the surface of the touchpad. A touch controller sets the detection sensitivity of a finger to a reference value when an NFC module does not emit alternating magnetic fluxes. The touch controller reduces the detection sensitivity at the timing when the NFC coil starts the emission of the alternating magnetic fluxes. The touch controller returns the detection sensitivity to the reference value at the timing when the NFC coil stops the emission of the alternating magnetic fluxes. The NFC module directly transmits a signal with which the touch controller changes the detection sensitivity to the touch controller through a hardware line.

  • Publication number: 20130328399
Abstract: A method for reducing the number of connectors for connecting a tablet unit and a base unit is disclosed. The tablet unit includes a system device and a first connector connected to a power line for supplying power from the base unit. The base unit includes a second connector configured to be connected to the first connector when the base unit is combined with the tablet unit. The tablet unit also includes a battery unit capable of supplying power to the system device through the power line. An external power-supply circuit is also capable of supplying power to the system device from an AC/DC adapter through the power line. Since power can be supplied from the battery unit or the AC/DC adapter to the tablet unit through the power line alone, the number of connector terminals can be reduced.
