  • Patent number: 10792724
Abstract: A coiled material transporting device is disposed between a coiled material supply device supplying a coiled material, and a press device pressing the coiled material supplied from the coiled material supply device. The coiled material supply device includes a support, a first driver, and a transporter. The support is extendable and retractable along a direction of a die disposed in the press device. The support is configured to support from below a terminal end of the coiled material supplied from the coiled material supply device. The first driver is configured to cause the support to extend and retract. The transporter is provided to the support and is configured to transport the terminal end of the coiled material toward the die disposed in the press device.

  • Patent number: 10576521
Abstract: A roll feeder is usable to intermittently feed a coiled material. The roll feeder includes a paired first roll and second roll, a meandering detector, a pressing component, and a controller. The paired first roll and second roll are disposed so as to clamp the coiled material. The paired first roll and second roll are configured to feed the coiled material in a conveyance direction. The meandering detector is configured to detect meandering of the coiled material from a specific conveyance position in a width direction perpendicular to the conveyance direction of the coiled material. The pressing component is configured to press the first roll against the coiled material being conveyed. The controller is configured to control the pressing component so as to correct the meandering based on detection by the meandering detector.

  • Publication number: 20180369895
Abstract: A roll feeder is usable to convey a hoop material to a pressing machine. The roll feeder includes a paired first roll and second roll configured to be disposed so as to clamp the hoop material and feed the hoop material along a conveyance direction, a motor configured to drive at least one of the first roll and the second roll, and a controller configured to control drive of the motor. The controller includes a process drive instruction component configured to drive the motor so as to feed the hoop material to a pressing machine side in between one press working and next press working, and a working drive instruction component configured to drive the motor so as to feed the hoop material to the pressing machine side during press working.

  • Patent number: 7802460
Abstract: A fixed-side connecting portion 151 is provided on an end of the fixed bar 141 while a movable-side connecting portion 152 is provided on an end of the movable bar 142. An air clamp 16 is housed within the fixed bar 141. By pneumatically driving the air clamp 16 while the movable-side connecting portion 152 is superimposed on an upper side of the fixed-side connecting portion 151, a clamp member 165 protrudes from a case 161 to be downwardly rotated and holds the movable-side connecting portion 152 against the fixed-side connecting portion 151. Since the clamp member 165 is pneumatically driven, a die replacement time can be shortened. In addition, since the air clamp 16 is housed within the fixed bar 141, the size of a transfer feeder 41 can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 7721584
Abstract: A plurality of workpiece holders 52 are attached on a slide plate 71 on a bar 14 and connected to a movable plate 72 by a plate connecting portion 73. The plate connecting portion 73 includes an engaging portion 731 that is provided on the movable plate 72 and an engaged portion 732 that is provided on the slide plate 71 and engaged with the engaging portion 731. By moving a fixed bar 141 downward relative to a movable bar 142, the movable bar 142 is detached and the engagement of the engaging portion 731 with the engaged portion 732 is released. Since both of the movable bar 142 and the slide plate 71 can be detached by a single downward movement of the fixed bar 141, no actuator is required, thereby simplifying the structure.
