Patent number: 6607594Abstract: A method for producing a silicon single crystal, the method being capable of suppressing the dislocation of a single crystal. When a silicon single crystal is produced by a Czochralski method in which a horizontal magnetic field or a cusp magnetic field is applied and the single crystal during growth is dislocated, the single crystal with dislocations is dissolved in a nonmagnetic field condition and thereafter a magnetic field is applied again to pull up the silicon single crystal. The flow rate of argon gas is designed to be 100 L/min or more and the pressure in a furnace is designed to be 6700 pa or less when the single crystal with dislocations is dissolved.Type: GrantFiled: December 18, 2001Date of Patent: August 19, 2003Assignee: Sumitomo Metal Industries, Ltd.Inventors: Hideki Fujiwara, Manabu Nishimoto, Isamu Miyamoto, Hiroshi Morita

Patent number: 6588560Abstract: A pulley unit improved in the axial positioning of the cage of the one-way clutch is disclosed. The outer radius of the orbital portion of the inner rings of two rolling bearings disposed at both axial sides of the cage are designed to be larger than the inner radius of the cage, so that the axial movement of the cage is constrained. Due to this structure, the projecting and recessing portions disposed on the cage of the one-way clutch and on the inner ring become inutile, and these can be eliminated.Type: GrantFiled: November 13, 2000Date of Patent: July 8, 2003Assignee: Koyo Seiko Co., Ltd.Inventor: Hideki Fujiwara

Publication number: 20030085091Abstract: A pulley is concentrically disposed around a hollow shaft, and a one-way clutch is disposed between the hollow shaft and the pulley. At least one bearing is provided between the shaft and the pulley. In the one-way clutch, a roller as a meshing member and a coil spring as a biasing member are integrally rotated together with an outer ring. The roller moves in a meshing-releasing direction by a centrifugal force when a rotation speed of the outer ring becomes equal to or higher than a predetermined speed, and a biasing force of the coil spring has enough magnitude for permitting this movement. The pulley is provided at its inner periphery with a cam surface, and the pulley and the outer ring of the one-way clutch are integrally formed.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 2, 2002Publication date: May 8, 2003Applicant: KOYO SEIKO CO., LTD.Inventors: Takahiro Ichihara, Hideki Fujiwara

Publication number: 20030017899Abstract: In this driving force transmission apparatus, with a simple constitution employing a one-way clutch 20 instead of an electromagnetic clutch, the driving force derived from the motor 33 can be transmitted to the rotating shaft 1 during engine stops, and the driving force of the engine can be transmitted to the rotating shaft 1 during engine operations. Also, the pulley 3 is held against the connecting portion 11 and the fixed-side member 26 by means of first and second two ball bearings 21, 30 disposed axially adjacent to first and second inner cylinder portions 6, 7, respectively, between which the opening portion 5 of the pulley 2 is interposed. This simple driving force transmission apparatus can switch between transmission and non-transmission of driving force from pulley to rotating shaft, and transmits the driving force of a motor directly to the rotating shaft in the non-transmission state.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 23, 2002Publication date: January 23, 2003Inventors: Hideki Fujiwara, Taku Adaniya, Shigeo Fukushima, Masahiro Kawaguchi, Kazuhiko Minami, Akinobu Kanai, Tomoharu Arai

Patent number: 6343682Abstract: A one-way clutch has an annular space through which an outer ring and an inner ring face each other, the outer ring and the inner ring being disposed inside and outside each other in a diameter direction and concentrically with each other. A lubricant for lubricating an inner peripheral face of the outer ring and an outer peripheral face of the inner ring on which rollers roll is prepared by mixing a urea-based consistency increasing agent into ester-based or synthetic oil-based base oil with a pressure viscosity coefficient (at a temperature of 25° C.) set at 12 GPa−1 or more. The lubricant provides for movement of state switching components to be stabilized even at a low temperature and wear of the state switching components and operating faces can be suppressed even at a high temperature.Type: GrantFiled: February 10, 2000Date of Patent: February 5, 2002Assignee: Koyo Seiko Co., Ltd.Inventors: Tadahiro Terada, Hajime Tazumi, Yoshitaka Nakagawa, Hideki Fujiwara

Patent number: 6311814Abstract: A one-way clutch has rollers individually disposed in wedge-shaped spaces formed at positions along a circumference between an inner annular body and an outer annular body which are disposed concentrically. The wedge angle of each wedge-shaped space is fixed at a preferred value. As a result, an engagement position of the roller becomes shallow when the roller is positioned on a narrower side of the wedge-shaped space and gaps between the roller and the inner and outer annular bodies become small when the roller is positioned on a wider side of the wedge-shaped space. Therefore, the rollers move smoothly when switching between the lock state and the free state.Type: GrantFiled: February 7, 2000Date of Patent: November 6, 2001Assignee: Koyo Seiko Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yoshitaka Nakagawa, Hajime Tazumi, Tadahiro Terada, Hideki Fujiwara

Patent number: 6095693Abstract: An inner ring is shaped in its contour by a cold-shaping treatment and is hardened on its surface by a nitrosulphurizing treatment or a soft-nitriding treatment. As a result, the hardness of the surface of the inner ring is enhanced by the cold-shaping treatment and further by the subsequent hardening treatment. As a result, the inner ring is improved in its wear resistance and its seizure resistance. Moreover, the hardening treatment is effected by the nitrosulphurizing treatment or the soft-nitriding treatment so that it can be suppressed from straining in that treating procedure.Type: GrantFiled: March 26, 1999Date of Patent: August 1, 2000Assignee: Koyo Seiko Co., Ltd.Inventor: Hideki Fujiwara
