  • Publication number: 20240075786
Abstract: A hub carrier includes a front arm part extending toward an inner side of the vehicle on a front side of the vehicle relative to an axle of the rear wheel; and a rear arm part extending on a rear side of the vehicle relative to the axle of the rear wheel. The rear arm part is joined to a lateral beam, extending in a vehicle width direction, on the rear side of the vehicle relative to the axle of the rear wheel. A vehicle rear end portion of a trailing arm, extending in a vehicle front-rear direction, is joined to the lateral beam. A vehicle front end portion of the trailing arm is joined to a vehicle body by using a first bush. A front arm part is joined to a front arm attachment part disposed on the trailing arm by using a second bush. A first support shaft of the first bush and a second support shaft of the second bush have respectively axial directions oriented differently from each other.

  • Patent number: 8052160
Abstract: A suspension apparatus is disclosed for which vehicle handling stability can be obtained. An upper arm (14), a damper unit (16), and a stabilizer (17) are connected in this order to a knuckle (13) from outside of the vehicle body in a width direction of the vehicle body. The reaction force of the stabilizer is used as a moment in the camber direction, and causes interference in the camber direction. As a result, a camber change during a reverse phase stroke is increased over a camber change during a same-phase stroke, and turning performance of the vehicle is improved.

  • Patent number: 7798507
Abstract: A vehicle suspension apparatus 10 includes a plurality of arms 14, 27 to 29 respectively extending from the side of a vehicle body, and a knuckle 13 swingably supported on the leading ends of these arms 14, 27 to 29 for swingably mounting a wheel 12 thereon. The arm 27 includes a straight arm portion 31, a first rubber bush 32 provided on one end of the arm portion 31 and a second rubber bush 34 provided on the other end of the arm portion 31. And, the center lines C1 and C2 of the first and second rubber bushes 32 and 34, when they are viewed from the axial direction of the arm portion 31, are set to have a predetermined angle of inclination between them.
